Country Cottage quiet cozy place near Gallipolis

Very good home feeling. 936 Sq feet of living space. Keypad for entry 24 hours. Full kitchen, laundry room, very quiet place. Everything you need. You don't have to pack anything iron provided, shampoo soap hair dryer etc. Security cameras on site. Near Merry Family Winery, Bob Evans Farm, Hardee's Love truck stop, Rio Grande college. Holzer Hospital. We have several other restaurants non chain, museums in our area. A list of things to do will be in the cottage or feel free to ask Tim or Bev.

Creekside is a little piece of heaven located on Racoon Creek in Gallia County Ohio about two miles from the Ohio River with River access. When you stay with us you will enjoy seeing nature's beauty. Fishing, boating, and kayaking are right in your backyard (we have 3 kayaks available for rent). If hunting is what you love, we are a 15 min. drive to Crown City Wildlife area. The Cabin is a fully furnished , 3 bedroom home on 13 acres, a pond 2 fire-pits, wildlife. The house has a gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen, also we provide a gas grill outside on the wrap around porch. The porch has a swing and plenty of seating. A wash room with full size washer and dryer. The pond has a dock and is fully stocked. A king master suite with a shower ,bath tub. A bunk room w/ 4 long bunks. Relax with no worries at this peaceful place to stay. Located among world class hunting, great hiking and beautiful views, we offer this gorgeous 1 bedroom, 1 bath guest house. The front room has a couch and large tv with streaming services. Over 300 free channels. The gas log fireplace is great in the winter months. The large bedroom and closet located in the rear of the unit also offers plenty of room. Fully functional kitchen and bathroom along with a dining area.

Very kind host. The place was impeccable and just as described. The host even left us some Easter chocolates in the kitchen (which made my FIL’s day!). Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of extra blankets and such. We absolutely loved the house. We stopped in Ashland because of its distance from our departure town to our destination. I will just let people not familiar with the area know that most houses are pretty close to (within earshot) to the railroad tracks, and trains come through day and night. Just a heads up in case you are a very light sleeper like myself. Again that has nothing to do with the house or the host, just the location of the town in general. Great time at the house, walked barefoot even in the bathroom — cleanliness is a big thing to me, and this host definitely delivered. Would highly recommend!

Gloria's place was just what we needed. We were just the right distance from the Monastery that we like to visit. Gloria was very sweet and cared for us, even putting down salt on the steps on the really cold mornings. We were able to disconnect from our busy life as a family and just relax. We highly recommend a visit if you want to relax and unwind in Wayne.

We had such a fantastic stay at this cabin! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet—perfect for unplugging and enjoying nature. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making the space feel welcoming and comfortable. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch, hanging out by the fire, or just enjoying the calm surroundings, everything was perfect. We’d absolutely come back again. My friends and I rented this property as a getaway for the 1 year anniversary of the loss of my friend's partner. This rental was truly lovely and relaxing. We found the property very clean and the beds/couches were comfortable. It was very private and we loved getting to use the ATVs. It's hard to be sad when you're ATVing and hot tubbing with your best friends. The property was also very close to many of the Mothman attractions we came to town for. We would definitely stay again. And Spooky the cat was so friendly. We are a bunch of animal-lovers, so he was a welcome friend during our stay.

Amazing place to stay! Amazing beds, two bedrooms on the first floor, full bathroom on first and second floor! Impeccable place, great kitchen, large televisions (living room and each bedroom), and spacious home overall. Erin is an amazing host. Definitely worth the stay and repeat visit with friends and family!
