Vacation rentals in Kit Carson

Sue's place was absolutely awesome! We went for a quick ski trip and her place had everything we needed and is very close to Heavenly's Nevada side (the better side in my opinion). She was beyond accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Devin’s cabin at the end of the March ski season. Everything was clean and comfortable inside, and peaceful and beautiful outside. It’s super conveniently located, with restaurants, grocery stores, activities, parks, and the lake all about a five minute drive away. We did some cooking and the place had all the necessities. If you are planning to stay with a toddler or dog like we did, be aware that the house is just off a busy road. There are also lots of books and a few toys that were much appreciated! It was fun to walk through the back of the property in a winter setting, and I imagine it is equally, if not more, incredible in the summer. Devin was also easygoing and one of the most responsive hosts I have ever communicated with.

Comfy, coxy, clean. In a quite neighborhood and bigger in the inside! Didnt have to worry about anybody tripping over one another because there is plenty of space to spread out. Easy to find things and great for a pretty sizable group to make dinner and play cards without being squeezed together!

If I think about Lake Tahoe for sure Tom’s place would be the place I could think of going. The place was accessible to ski lifts and also to the heavenly village. We had a great with my family staying on his place. I highly recommend Tom’s place for sure.

Our friends from the Bay Area has such a great stay at Robert’s condo. It was cozy and well decorated. We got clear instructions and warm welcome via messages from the host as well as reminders to check the road condition on our way up. The condo was just a 15min drive to Mt Rose where we went skiing. The area was quiet and peaceful but close enough to grocery stores and essentials. The host remained responsive throughout our stay and made sure to address any questions or concerns we had. Very clean space.

Beautiful spot, very convenient location. The condo was cozy, had a well-equipment kitchen and our family had fantastic time exploring Tahoe.

Our hosts clearly put a lot of effort into organizing, furnishing and maintaining their little cottage and it shows! For a young family of four and a house-trained dog, it was a great fit for us. We were able to use the location as a launching pad to Northstar and Incline pretty easily with a quick 5-10min walk to the beach, food and grocery. The cottage has a HUGE backyard, perfect for the kids and dog to get outside and play. The hot tub was working and clean. Even though the location was close enough to walk to most anything you would need for a long weekend, the immediate neighborhood was an interesting combination of apartments, new builds and well lived in North Tahoe single-family homes. The rental was perhaps the most upkept home on the block. The only opportunity we found with the rental was both the Primary and the Murphy bed mattresses/frames. They were both comically uncomfortable and overall, a disappointment. Luckily everything else was perfect and we had a great time!

This is how it should be... direct contact with a responsive owner who is sharing their personal home. (not a corporate rental!) Chris always answered quickly when we had a question. Location was great for those who prioritize skiing and relaxing. View from balcony of Lake Tahoe was amazing! Shared hot tub just down the stairs and across the parking lot was great after skiing. Full kitchen to cook meals was wonderful, and well stocked with pots/pans/etc. Thank you Chris!!!
