Absolutely loved my stay! The place was super clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated — it felt like a little home away from home. The place is as advertised and more. Those who've been to Kisumu know how hot and uncomfortable the nights can be. Not Raj's place. The place was cool during the day and at night. No mosquitoes to complain about regardless of the close proximity to the lake. Raj was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back on my next trips to Kisumu. A true gem

I had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay. The place is situated away from the bustle of town and access to the lake just minutes away. I liked exploring the area around the lake and seeing the boats. The restaurant is on the water. The place was secure and I felt at ease. An overall very pleasant stay!

The cozy apartment was exactly as advertised. Faith met us at the building and got us situated in the apartment. We did use the mini-fridge to keep some items cool but didn't cook. The fan in the living room made things comfortable there; we might suggest a fan in the bedroom, too. We had a little trouble getting the mosquito netting panels to overlap completely at the sides of the bed. The view from the rooftop is lovely.

great service, nice place, walkable to main street/restaurants. Great restaurant on the side of the building clean and decent. kettle and juicer i was super early (nighttrain) luke, the security guards and the cleaning lady helped me to get inside and let my stuff. i went out for a run, when i came back it was all ready to go. Luke came even to check if i was allright!

The place was just as pictured. Elvis was such a hospitable host and was always a phone call away to cater for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the patio and the grill. The location was convenient to access amenities. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Hillside Cabin - Magical view of entire Lake/City

I was crashing for one night before I headed to the airport, but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. What a great way to end my stay in Kisumu! The view has to be the greatest highlight. The place was also spotless and had everything I needed. Also, the house is very well located, about 20-25 minutes to the airport. If you don’t have a car, you will need to hire one or plan for a cab in advance (otherwise, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main road if you need to use public transportation). Brian was very accommodating, letting me drop my bags off early and checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it! He’s an extremely warm and welcoming host.

My stay here was amazing, Jennifer was very proactive and friendly from the time i landed to the time i checked out. She was always present and ready to provide you with whatever you need. Her house is very clean and her linens are spotless whichnis a plus for the OCD groups like me. The apartment is pretty gorgeous and theres lots of water as well. The care taker is keen on the guests that arrive and leave, meaning security is on their radar. She also provided an uber lady who would take me to whatever place i wanted and she was so so nice and friendly. Lastly, she has a delivery guy who can get you whatever you want cz the market is not as near and he is very respectful and friendly as well. I really really loved the service and would recommend anyone to visit the place anytime yoj find yourself in Kisumu.

The place was nice and relaxing. I was exactly what was needed. I would recommend it to anyone. Make sure you stop by the supermarket along the way to get a few personal items.

The property is awesome, very secure with lush green gardens, a lovely mango orchard, running water, a fully equipped kitchen. We had our own private entrance and the property was just a few minutes to Siaya town.. My 6 yr old son really enjoyed - chicken, geese, cats, cows and a lovely compound. Jane the host welcomed us like long lost friends and was readily available for any queries. Lovely host, lovely stay!
