Our caravan is situated within the Haughton Country Park with plenty walks and near by playparks. It is 1 mile walk to the centre of Alford village with plenty available shops and take-aways. The cottage has spectacular views, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). A small enclosed yard to the rear and a bench and parking area to the front. Included in the price is electricity and heating, a basket of logs and kindling for the log burning stove in the cottage, cupboard items such as tea, coffee. There is a smart tv, should you wish to use it (the view is the best tv!) and WiFi. The house is a traditional fishing cottage in a quiet village situated on the NE250 route.

Whether rain or shine you will not be disappointed with the location of our beautiful house. Just a 2 minute walk to the local pub, the Harbour Bar and the Quayside restaurant / takeaway where you can enjoy their award winning Fish and Chips. Aberdeen is a 25 minute drive to the north and Dundee a 40 minute drive to the south with many small fishing villages in between.

Great location with amazing scenery, so peaceful after the hurly burly of modern life. The Lodge was everything we had imagined, very comfy beds, loved the upstairs lounge with Super comfy sofas. Sheridan greeted us with jam and eggs even though she had to rush to the airport! The gardens were very attractive and spacious but sadly we could not take advantage of them because of the weather!

Rowan Cottage is great. Lots of space, wood burning stove, warm duvets, 3 bathrooms. Location is great - yes, it's a shame that all the trees are gone but storms are storms. Caroline has provided lots of bird feeders and that encourages loads of different kinds of birds and also red squirrels - fantastic. Great space for families or groups. Quiet and feels well away from everywhere, even though you're near to a main road.

We found the caravan very cosy, with everything we needed. WiFi worked a treat, as did the hot water - things which can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, and ruin a holiday. The beach at Saint Cyrus was very beautiful, and everyone was super friendly. Unfortunately the local pub, The Anchor, which had been highly recommended for dinner, was closed Mondays and Tuesdays, so we couldnt try it out, but maybe next time!

Our group all had an excellent couple of nights and the house had everything that we could have needed. A Supermarket was only a few mins walk away for any supplies and the local chippy at the end of the street is a great option if you’re feeling lazy! The hot tub / tiki hut really made our trip so much fun and memorable. Inside, the house was immaculate and very comfortable. Bekki was very responsive and incredibly friendly. Thanks for a great trip - we will be back!

We had a brilliant stay in this wonderful property near Aberlour. Everything was perfect. Lovely rooms with great facilities. If anything the listing did not do the property justice. The surrounding area is beautiful with loads to do and see. We loved it!
