Lil’ Dock was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend visit. Downtown New Bern is just a short drive away, and we also got the quiet river view that comes with not staying right in the city. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay. It was located in the heart of everything to do! You could walk out and walk right across to the river walk or turn left and be right in the middle of all the restraunts! Plenty of shopping and EVERYWHERE was pet friendly so our 4 legged best friend got to come with us everywhere! I would highly recommend Ellen and her properties to anyone!

We loved the stay here - the place was immacutely furnished, clean and beautiful, and well within walking distances of cafes and restaurants! Laura was a fantastic host, really friendly and super responsive. We will definitely like to come stay again in the future.

William was super accommodating to our flexed schedule! Tarboro is a gem for local attractions and establishment! All downtown events were within walking distance!

Very private location, yet very close to everything! Mary was very flexible with checking in and checking out.

Although we did not take full advantage of the amenities (we did not cook, rather it was a place to sleep) the house was perfect. The kitchen would be perfect for guests opting to cook. The living room was comfortable for gathering and bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. The location is quiet and feels safe.

Des is the ultimate host. The house is well stocked with plenty of room to relax. TVs in all the bedrooms as well as mini fridges. Very comfortable and Des is a great communicator. Thank you again for a great time. Our golfers love it.

The home is beautiful and very neat. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive whenever messaged. There are lots of insects outside and some inside but the space outside and inside of the home is wonderful and inviting. The house is in the country which provides privacy and is perfect for a family to stay. You will need to bring all your own toiletries to ensure you have enough.

I absolutely loved Daniel’s home! It was one of the nicest homes we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable, which is always important for us. I would absolutely book this home again!

We just returned from beautiful New Bern (annual trip for the past four years). We needed a bit more room this year, so we chose Yip's beautiful 3BR home. We absolutely loved the location and historic neighborhood; also enjoyed meeting the neighbors (people, dogs, and cats). It was part of what made us feel so at home. The home was beautiful, and we found everything that we needed and more inside! This is an easily walkable neighborhood to the downtown area and the park (for sunrise viewing)! Stayed here for about a week for a romantic getaway with my partner. The place was beautiful and just like the pictures. Very close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. It was so clean and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, playing golf at Harbour pointe and exploring downtown new Bern on day 1, and then touring tryon palace, playing disc golf, and enjoying the amenities on property on day 2. Sara’s is a great dinner spot nearby for dine in or pick up!

We totally enjoyed our trip and this unit we stayed in. Views and beach absolutely beautiful. Unit was open, clean and decorated beautifully.

Great place to stay. Very relaxing. High tide is right up to the sandbags so you can access the beach until later in the morning which was fine for us. After that the beach is open all day. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Had read reviews about the high tide and although it came up to the stairs it wasn’t a problem at all. Great location… nice and quiet. The bed was super comfortable. It rained the whole time we were there so we stayed in the majority of our stay. Not much to do on the island when it’s rainy but still a good getaway.

This place is was amazing!! It had everything we needed and the town was great! Easy access to a lot of places near by, the town is friendly and we had many places to choose from for food, and drinks. Most definitely will be back highly recommend

It was a really nice place honestly it looked better in person than it did in the photos. The whole place was very clean you can tell their cleaning service is very thorough. They had everything you need down to detergent to wash clothes. Which came in handy when washing our clothes from the beach. Only thing missing was propane in the grill and with how helpful they were I’m sure they would have filled if we had reached out. I definitely feel it was worth the price and will book them again for any future stays in the area.

This was our second time staying at Laura’s place, and it was perfect for our needs once again! We traveled with our three kids and really appreciate how affordable and family-friendly the home is for a beach trip. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and peaceful—we loved relaxing on the screened-in back patio, watching golfers go by and listening to the frogs in the evening. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made meals easy, and we enjoyed local spots like Sundial Coffee, Shuckin’ Shack, and The Crab Pot. We spent two great days at the beach and loved coming back to unwind here. No complaints at all, we highly recommend!
