A beautiful and peaceful retreat, with stores close by. We enjoyed relaxing on the front, watching the birds, squirrels, and cows. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great.

Rutledge on Pine Grove Farm

Wilson’s place was absolutely beautiful!! He was incredibly helpful, meeting us at the house to show us around and even bringing a hairdryer since we mentioned we were going to a wedding. The grounds are stunning, with five miles of trails to explore. The house was spacious- there are actually seven beds, including two in the basement- perfect for our group. The kitchen was incredible, spacious enough for all five of us to cook and gather together comfortably. The area felt very safe and peaceful, and the location is one of the most beautiful we’ve visited. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are planning to return, even though we don’t visit Virginia often. It was that amazing!

Absolutely beautiful all around. Easy and secure access, clean place, plenty amenities, slightly “thin walls” but nothing too bad. I will say, the shower was small but nothing short of spotless. Great stay!

Your home-away-from-home

Lindsey is incredibly responsive and helpful. Clear instructions. Best office setup that I've seen from any AirBnB. She's professional and friendly. Home is very inviting. Don't hesitate to text her if one of the neighbors is doing his thing by playing music too loud. She is on it. If you don't have a car, make sure to rent one. Getting Uber / Lyft was a lot more expansive that I though $135 / ride to $20 / ride. And the rental car companies don't have cars available for days although it want a special event. Obviously that has nothing to do with the host. That's a tip to make you're stay smooth.
A spacious waterfront house is shown with an elevated design, featuring a large deck supported by sturdy columns. Outdoor seating includes colorful Adirondack chairs and lounge chairs arranged around a fire pit, surrounded by a well-maintained yard and gravel pathway.

Waterfront Luxury River House

MattRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We enjoyed a great riverside stay with two kids and five adults. There was ample space, entertainment for the kids (6 and 8), and accomodating hosts. We would recommend a stay here for its onsite aquatic activities, relaxing vibe, and proximity to both Richmond and Williamsburg.
