Vacation rentals with a fireplace in King Island

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR! Communication excellent. Grant could not have been more accommodating. Accommodation all very comfortable. Facilities terrific. Views AMAZING!!! Perfect place for us to stay. Cannot recommend too highly.

We were looking for a place for the family to relax and buttons by the beach absolutely exceeded expectations. The gorgeous ocean view can be seen through the whole house, and the property is enormous, with no one around but wallabies, serving as the perfect getaway. The entire house is very clean, and Deb has thoughtfully gone over and beyond in stocking the pantry and house in general. Communication was also easy with Deb who is a wonderful host, helping us sort out other aspects of our trip as well. Our only regret was that we didn’t book a longer stay. We definitely intend to come back and highly recommend a stay here.

A beautiful spot to experience king Island and its epic scenery. The hot tub and the sauna add a lovely addition to activities. Our girls surfed at visible and nearby Porky Beach, and we ran in the mornings out the long drive and back. Good walks on the beach from the house. So many nice amenities were provided, and the house itself is gorgeously appointed, spacious and peaceful. The views are unbeatable. Thanks so much!

I have never stayed in an Airbnb of this quality before. Attention to detail is superb. On arrival, a lovely platter of local cheeses, picked onions, nuts, dried fruit and lovely champagne. On our second day we arrived back from golf at Cape Wickham to find that Alex had come in, set the table for our dinner, salads in the bowls, glasses at the ready, flowers, cloth napkins etc etc. Then a little later on , in comes Russell with the most divine crayfish so beautifully presented and fresh from the catch that day. . It was so delicious. The place is perfect. Could not ask for better. Also, so close to walk into the town. We thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

We really loved our stay at the Red Hut. Such beautiful and private surroundings. Our hosts were very responsive and went out of their way to help with any questions we had. We will definitely be back:)

A perfect place for our group of three adult couples with room to spare! We enjoyed this lovely historical home with plenty of room to join together for meals and playing card games but also to separate and find lovely spaces to relax as couples. All rooms were beautiful with all you need to keep warm (including plenty of fire wood for the fire places if wanted) and everything you needed in the large kitchen to do some cooking or barbeque. We loved the isolation of the property with kangaroos and cows in the surrounding paddocks. Travelling to the main town or the golf courses and coastline exploring was an easy driving distance with varied bird life to enjoy on the way. This is such a lovely home with its high ceilings, wide corridors and decorated with comfortable furniture we felt immediately relaxed and totally enjoyed our stay.

Great location, plenty of room especially for a family. Easy walk to the town centre, lookouts and harbour jetty. Books to read, board games, table tennis and BBQ in the shed. Only qualm was to dust a few spider webs away when we first arrived. No problem though. Currie is a nice town, very friendly people, Georges place is all part of it. We enjoyed our stay very much. :)
