Cottage vacation rentals in Kilmun

Flew in from Toronto, Canada to this beautiful home away from home. Barbara, Graeme (and Rosie) were extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely, comfortable linens and beds, clean and modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and great and private hot tub. The location is very rural, but easy to find with google maps. The town of Kilburnie is close by with a grocery store, gas station and pharmacy among other amenities.

Lovely house, great location. Perfect for a short getaway. Hot tub was a nice extra, although at this time of year it takes a while to heat up. Also ate at Mhor84 which was close by - great food. In all a fab break. Thanks.

Home from home, absolutely wonderful stay! Marcin was so responsive, chief log replacer and great host! Hot tubs were so warm, clean and a additional touch. Peaceful, calm and relaxing. Ideal close location to Loch Lomond and Luss. Highly recommend you stay. We will be back for sure!

Couldn’t have asked for anything more from this cottage! Great location, very clean and cosy, and the facilities were fantastic however the hot tub takes some time to heat up but once it does, it’s perfect! Would highly recommend staying here.

The cottage far exceeded our expectation and is stunning, with large bedrooms and open plan living area. Everything is provided in the property itself. We booked for 4 nights for our daughter’s wedding and the cottage provided great wedding shoot photos. Highly recommend.

Mitsubishi Heating System was interesting. The toilet seat needs to be adjusted for gentlemen having a pee. The bathroom door just clips the bath as it opens and needs a little shaving off the door. Just a few little things that I noticed being an Airbnb host myself. I am not being critical but trying to be helpful to mine host.

Have just spent a few days at Ashburn cottage & it was lovely. The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need & had fabulous views of the loch & mountains. The weather was cold, crisp & sunny so was stunning, we did have a wee flurry of snow. Loved the log burner, so cosy!! Had a lovely meal at the Goil Inn & The Boat Shed cafe a definite for a visit! Will hope to be back again soon 👍

We felt very much at home in this cosy, lovingly decorated cottage. Every practical need was taken care of, the heating system worked perfectly. We liked our meals at the big kitchen table and the quaint staircase leading up to the bedroom and bathroom. Personally, I found it hard to sleep because the mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable

Altquhur Byre was a perfectly charming little cottage. The kitchen was modern, spacious and well equipped. The living area was warm and cosy, especially with the fire going. My daughters slept on the sofa bed and found it very comfy. Bedroom was warm with a comfy bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower. The location was very peaceful and there are plenty of walks in the area. I would recommend a stay here and may even be back myself.

Just completed a festive stay at this stunning cottage, has everything you could possibly require plus items you wouldn’t have even thought of, best equipped air BnB we’ve stayed at, even decorated for Christmas, garden is gorgeous & has a really pretty relaxing summer house; looks small from the street but like a tardis once inside, huge fridge freezer & lots of personal touches, beds super comfy, lovely log burning fire, which we didn’t use as the cottage was already nice & cosy & warm, would definitely recommend & wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, host very responsive & very helpful when needed

Fabulous & comfortable house with the best enclosed garden for our dogs, loads of birds & wildlife. Saw many red squirrels & even a pine Martin! The surprise is the wee sitoutery at the bottom of the garden with the wood burning stove. There are great walks all around with stunning views. We’ve arranged to go back again, Peace perfect peace. A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Plenty of nice walks, fishing, good places to eat within walking distance. Perfect for what we needed, a relaxing peaceful Xmas getaway. Responsive and helpful hosts, would highly recommend and hope to stay again

This Airbnb is one of our favorites. The location is great. You can drive up to multiple Lochs, sights, as well as being in the heart of a glen and surrounded by Scottish beauty. There is a fabulous back garden with chairs, there are sheep, deer and wilderness all around and it is great for hiking. The amenities are all working, well managed and explained, there is lots to do and many ideas are given by the host as well. The rooms are cosy with magnificent views, kitchen well equipped. Billy was fast to respond, flexible ( we inquired about an extra hour due to a zoom call we needed to take and he responded immediately with options) and it is clear that this Airbnb is well cared for. We will recommend and return. Thank you.

Brenda was an excellent host. Her place was absolutely gorgeous. She was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. The house was absolutely massive and had more than enough space for 7 of us. We enjoyed the seating space in the kitchen and being able to sit outside with a coffee in the morning. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat not too far from Glasgow, Loch Lomond and Stirling!

We really enjoyed our stay . The wood burning stove was a bonus and we loved how cozy the house was. Recommend buying additional logs - Heather has a supply there and a couple of extra bags kept us going. It is a beautiful part of the world and well worth a visit. We will be back
