Perfect countryside retreat, conveniently located for the Ayrshire coast.

Ralph and his family were wonderful hosts. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. As for the apartment it was sparkly clean and had everything we could ask for. Coffee, tea and fruits were provided as a welcome. As well as local cosmetics and a newspaper, which was a nice touch from the owners. Moreover, the beds had heating pads under the sheets, further enhancing our stay. Local area is the epitome of peace and quiet. The beach is right under your nose. And just outside the house, there is a country lane that leads along the coast and eventually into the centre of the village. I highly recommend taking a walk there as the views are stunning. We had the most fantastic week at St Blane's House and couldn't have been happier with everything. The house was absolutely amazing, with so much space for all our family, and every single thing we could possibly have wanted - just incredibly well thought through, from the amazing toys in the games room, the pool table, darts, table tennis, etc., to the bikes and skateboards, extra dog leads, wetsuits, kitchen bits and bobs, random bits (reading glasses, nail varnish remover, eye masks - literally everything we needed, we found it!). The bedrooms were all really wonderful and comfortable, and the communal areas particularly special - sitting in the bar area together really felt like hanging out in our own pub. The views across the bay were so beautiful and we had a wonderful time paddle boarding and swimming in front of the house. Helen's information was so helpful and communication so good, with quick response to any queries. Such a perfect week, thank you so much!

Nice clean and modern place within a 10-15 minute walk of the centre of town. Excellent value for money with responsive and friendly hosts, thanks guys!

We had a great short break. The location was perfect for exploring Arran. I loved my morning coffee on the deck. I was joined each morning by a red squirrel! The chalet was clean, cosy and comfortable. Zoe was extremely helpful.

Carries place was absolutely terrific! It was the right mix of convenience, comfort & style! We appreciated the large spaces and all the fine amenities. It was so helpful to have a written book of instructions to refer to for everything from house rules to garbage & recycling to using the showers, heater, etc. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space throughout this lovely apartment. The eat-in kitchen was especially roomy and useful during our stay. Perhaps the prettiest and most comfy room was the beautiful living room. Decorated in inviting, light hues w/comfy sofas and a nice table in the bay window. Each night we saw the sunset over the sea from that table - beautiful! Both bathrooms were not just functional but quite nice. We personally appreciated having a shower in addition to the tub since we are more shower people ;) Carrie was incredibly friendly & responsive. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again when we visit. Thanks Carrie!

Great location and home to stay for your vacation. Lots of room, we had 5 people and we all felt we had privacy. We cooked several meals in the kitchen, very easy and all utensils, pans etc... There is a really nice grocery just down the hill a few steps. The town is small but it has everything you could need. parking was great right at the front door, we had two cars to park and there was room for both. I would stay there again if I ever go back.
