Family-friendly vacation rentals in Killcare

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Cobblestone Cottage. It was ideally located for visiting our local family in Glen Haven. The cottage is spacious and ideal for two people or a small family. It is only a short drive to Dural or Castle Towers, so there are many local shopping options! Chantelle is a very helpful and responsive host. We hope that we will be able to stay at the cottage again on our next visit to Sydney.

Thank you Craig and Tiffany for letting our family stay here. The property is as described and was very comfortable for the 6 of us. It is very close to the beach (a bit further if you want to swim between the flags), to the lake where we went fishing and convenient to get to the local shops and start our bike ride around Tuggerah Lake. The games room was fun and we enjoyed playing pool along with some retro games on the joystick controllers eg. Tetris, Pacman, Street Fighter, etc. Craig was great to deal with, being responsive and extremely accommodating. Despite it raining for 3 days whilst we were there, there was plenty of things to keep us busy. Thank you for your hospitality and we would love to visit again.

Fantastic location, miodern clean beautiful apartment, couldn't ask for anything more, 5 star recommendation for anybody wanting to stay in manly.

Elly was very responsive and helpful with all communication leading up to our stay. All instruction provided for access was on point and very helpful. All local recommendations were very well received as well. The building manager Colin was very helpful and responsive as well when assistance was needed. Overall very positive experience.

Undoubtedly Eva’s place was the best I have experienced with Airbnb. Eva treated us as her own family, allowed my son and granddaughter to come and join us and enjoy the pool. My 7 year old granddaughter was fascinated with Eva’s cats and they were very friendly with her. Eva was always there when we needed her, was very responsive to our queries and she was really gracious. Definitely I recommend Eva’s place and definitely we’ll come back and enjoy it. It is the best boathouse I have ever been to and will definitely comes back. Tracey is a fantastic super host and nice lady also invited me to her birthday party during my stay.

This is our third stay at Susana's place because we love the proximity to beach and bush and the lovely aesthetics of the home. Highlights for us are long dinners on the back balcony under the angophoras watching the sun set and early morning walks through Wyrrabalong National Park for a swim at Bateau Bay beach and a coffee at Bateau Beach Cafe on the way home. Our group of 7 find the home really comfortable and our annual holiday here really relaxing and refreshing.

Stayed here for 3 nights ahead of and during my wedding. Christine was a wonderful host, responsive beforehand. The nest is so beautiful, air con great, and the whole property was exactly what we needed. Lots of space. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Liz and Larry’s Patonga cabin. Comfy and very clean well equipped with everything you’ll need. Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating hosts. We arrived on a hot day and were welcomed with the AC on and some cool goodies in the fridge. There is easy access to a lovely walk along the river. Part of the front beach at Patonga is off leash for dogs, and the Boathouse Hotel and the ferry to Palm Beach are dog friendly. Looking forward to returning.

Kate's place was exactly like the photos and a great location for what we wanted to do whilst in that region, not to mention the awesome view from the balcony! The only constructive (not negative) feedback was that we took our 4 month old German Shepherd puppy with us and didn't have any actual yard for the dog to roam around, or to do it's business, so were out and about walking the streets at all hours of the night to accommodate our dog requirements. Overall we loved Kate and her home but in regards to being pet friendly, perhaps not an active puppy dog. :-). We will certainly stay at Kates place again, just not with the dog. Thanks Kate!!

We had a wonderful time here! Enjoyed the beautiful views of the water, and spending time sitting on the jetty. Even if you have a rainy day, there's a comfortable living space to relax with board games. A short drive to the shops and Ettalong Beach.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Caves Beach. The location is fabulous right across the street from the beach and pub/shops etc. The house is well set up with everything we needed and we enjoyed spending time on the deck enjoying the view out to the water. The fully enclosed yard and tiles throughout the house was ideal for our dog who made the most of the dog friendly section of the beach. Sue was very helpful and responsive, a wonderful spot we hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic time at The Sanctuary, which absolutely stood up to its name. Super well located and had everything we could possibly need for an escape to the beach, we loved every minute.

We had such a wonderful stay at Vivienne’s place in Terrigal that we ended up extending for two more nights! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, close to the beach, great restaurants, coffee spots, and a shopping center. The surroundings were beautiful, making it the perfect spot to relax while still being near everything. Vivienne was a great host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here!

We spent 3 nights over XMAS and Todd’s place was well equipped, clean and tidy, and easy to access. The place is walking distance to the beach but backs onto bush so has a private and secluded feel: The instructions were very detailed and communication prompt. Our dog also loved the off leash beach! Would definitely recommend for a chilled stay at Copa 🙂

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Tim and Nicole’s. All appliances and amenities were top of the range ! Every amenities we could think of were provided, even exceeding our expectations. Not to mention the stunning beach view from the balcony. Many thanks to Tim and Nicole for the awesome beach house. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to book.

Comfortable apartment and wonderful location. Our first try at Airbnb’s . A responsive host to a minor problem quickly solved. Ideally situated for the beach, shops and ferry into Sydney.

We are a family of 4 with an 11 and 8 yr old. This house was perfectly located in relation to the the main town road, the lake behind us, which you could see from the dining room, and the beach. The walk to the beach is 10 min through the cozy town, very easily accessible. The house was amazingly clean, she had every amenity that you could possibly want including salt, pepper, oils, glad wrap, tin foil, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable, which I find important when you're staying for a week like we did. Felicity was very responsive. there was lots of storage space for your groceries, a washer and dryer were available, lots of places to hang up your towels to dry after a day at the beach. it truly was a very beautiful and cozy place to stay.

We had 6 nice days here. It was very clean and a nice place to be. There is little to do nearby, but this is compensated by the private garden and swimming pool. Gary helped us with tips on what to do nearby. Thank you very much we enjoyed it all!

What a lovely find in a magic spot! House was perfectly located within such close walking distance to the Boathouse, beach and creek. The pool was great for a refreshing dip and the covered deck made relaxing enjoyable both in sunny and rainy weather. We also loved being able to bring our dog!

Victoria and Roger’s place was in a beautiful, peaceful spot. We had everything we needed during our stay and loved all the added extras in the house including all kitchen essentials and beautiful toiletries. Victoria even left out some pool noodles for the kids which they loved. We had some gorgeous weather while in Ettalong and enjoyed the pool and sitting on the balcony in the afternoons.
