Mountain cabin in quiet surroundings with own boat

We really enjoyed our stay in July. The cabin had all we needed with a splendid view as well. We walked to Fagersand just below the cabin for a very children friendly short hike and a swim from the sandy beach. From the cabin we drove to Rjukan and Gaustatoppen for a great day of sightseeing and hiking. Amazing nature!

We stayed at Geirr’s cabin for a long weekend and it was wonderful ☀️ everything you may need is there and the space where the cabin is located is super beautiful. If you love playing golf or just enjoying some peace snd quiet this is a great place to stay.

Very nice and clean cottage, also architectural. A little surprised at how much cabins there were, but so late in the season there weren't many around. The timing also meant the ferry didn't run that often but it was fine. We enjoyed ourselves and got both sun and rain.

Absolutely magical!😍 If the plan is to have a cozy and relaxing time, then I can highly recommend this. For both couples and families. Great views and everything in the cabin worked as expected. Can imagine how great it can be there in the summer, mtp bathing beach just below. We rented the cabin between 13-15.12.24. Good to know: There is also parking space just outside the cabin + 1 room just below the hill to the right. The hill up to the cabin is very steep, so important to have good wheels to get up in winter time if the lead is bad. We were a bit unlucky with the ice, but Stian stopped by and salted later in the evening. To be mentioned that there are heating cables mounted in the ground up💪🏻 We also got a nice welcome gift, you get the extra mile by booking this cabin😊

Great and well-maintained cabin with all amenities. We had a fantastic stay. Didn't get to use Kragerø Resort as this was closed, but can see for us that this opportunity will be an extra experience in spring and summer months.

Cosy and family friendly house

We were here for a weekend as we were going to an exhibition with the horse. Was very homey and nice to bring kids. 3 year old loved being there. Closer to the stable, which for us was really good. A bit difficult to find as they dug around the neighborhood a lot, but otherwise very calm and quiet surroundings. Nice people with great communication all the way!

Hanne's place was amazing. The view was spectacular and we felt right at home. Check in was very easy, and the home had everything we needed. Our three year old was also thrilled to have a trampoline to jump on and some toys to play with. The time of our stay flew by and in the end we were sad to leave such a beautiful place but we will definitely be back! 😊

Elizabeth was the most gracious and helpful host I have ever experienced! Our stay was somewhat of an accident, as I had intended to be in an area 2 hours away closer to Rjukan, but Elizabeth worked so hard to make the time enjoyable for our family! She helped us with extra boots and snow pants, provided us with cross-country skis, brought over fresh eggs from their chickens, did our laundry, and even took our children sledding! The space was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. Above all, the location was great. Lake and mountain views with private lake access. We did great canoe tours. Every day there were deer at the house. Linn was very helpful! Their friendly dogs and cats often visited, which especially our children enjoyed very much. Highly recommended!

We had two great days at the horse farm. The surroundings are fantastic and the landlords extremely friendly and accommodating. Our children were able to ride, move freely and were happy.
