Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kigali

Solo female traveler here from USA- Benjamin is a super cool, well-traveled Parisian guy who loves Rwanda & will make you love it (more) too. Other things of note: PROS: Ordering bkfast was worth it. House is super private & secure. 2 locks to access; on main gate and house. House is down steep stairs in backyard of the main house. Loved singing & drumming late at night / early morning without worrying about disturbing any1. Location is VERY walkable. Loads of great restaurants, cafes, music venues, &shops; 10-30min walk. Moto taxi is easy. Go to Houssana Collections for affordable & beautiful handmade jewelry, crafts & more. CONS: The street #'s aren't in order around this place so uae St. Etienne's Cathedral as your navigation point. Water heater for the shower is tricky. Ask for help if you need it. I didn't but u should lol Ammenities minimal. If you're used to USA style ABNB trinkets and toiletries, this isn't that. Hosts are very accommodating but bring what u need.

I liked that the place is in a good location, in a safe neighborhood and accessible to restaurants, a café, a supermaket, to motos and many other things. At my arrival, I could find it easily on google maps. The host, Eva, was very responsive and provided recommendations for all we needed if and when we asked. The place is big enough for two people; it was also clean so we enjoyed our stay! The only thing we recommend the host to improve is to provide regular cleaning services if a guest is staying for a longer period. I totally recommend this place in Kigali!

Marlon and crew were incredibly hospitable. He was able to accommodate my last minute booking with an early arrival the next morning. There was a little kiosk outside that sold eggs/fruits/veggies and I was able to buy from there and have the little restaurant just outside bring me a fresh breakfast. Aline gave excellent recommendations on things to do nearby and pages to follow on social media for more updates on things to do. The place looked exactly like the description and any time I needed something Marlon was a quick text away. They offered excellent recs that only someone local to the area could provide. Will absolutely stay here again in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly accommodating and flexible, even with our frequent changes in dates due to travel challenges, which made planning so much easier. The housekeeper, though we faced some language barrier challenges, was always warm and friendly, which added a lovely personal touch to the stay. The area felt very safe, which was especially comforting as we arrived late at night and had early mornings. Overall, it was a seamless and enjoyable experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended! Fantastic host and onsite team. Thanks

Guillaume is a fantastic host, 10/10 I would recommend and love to stay there again. His nephew Sam is also one to thank for his great response time whenever I had any issue. Long story short, it’s a home away from home. Can’t wait to be back ✨🏆

Do I ever miss relaxing on the patio in this wonderfully lush compound! The staff are welcoming and kind, and the dogs are so sweet. The location is just perfect if you’re working in Kiyovu. I will definitely stay again.

I stayed at Leon’s place for a few weeks in Kigali. I repeatedly extended my stay because I was very happy with it. The location is great—lively but not too loud, easy to find, and close to other neighborhoods (Kigali heights, remera). I enjoyed walking to nearby cafes restaurants etc, but taking a moto was also very easy to find and use. Compared to other airbnbs I stayed in Kigali, the sofa and beds are very comfortable—something I didn’t find in many other places. The place looks better than the pictures as well (mainly more sunlight than it seems). Leon is also very helpful and responsive, and quickly addressed any issues that came up. Very happy with the stay and would recommend to anyone traveling to Kigali.

Near everything you may possibly need Airport,Shops…etc,100% recommended
