Vacation rentals with a pool in Kent County

Our family had a great overnight stay at Campau Lake Sunny Days. Frank and team were easy to communicate with and responded promptly to all my communications, even when I texted at late hours. They graciously contacted us before our stay to bump us to the bigger cottage free of charge. They were flexible with our checkout time so we could enjoy the hot tub during the small window of good weather during our stay. We hope to be back in the summer time to play on the lake!!

This property was perfect for our large group...the house was large enough to accommodate all of us, and there was lots to do outdoors: pool, volleyball, fire pit, large deck with table, sand box and play area for kids. They thought of everything you could need inside the house as well--we were very impressed! The only issue we had is that there was a bad odor coming from somewhere (possibly behind the property)...not the fault of the owners, but it was definitely a negative when we were outside (there were times it was fine, and then the wind would shift...). We all agreed it was a wonderful place to gather & we would recommend it to others!

We were in town for a basketball tournament. The place was perfect for our group. The beds were really comfortable and the space was just what we needed.

This place was SO nice for the price and especially the location!! not to mention the huge relaxing hot tub on the property. wish i could have stayed longer!!

This home was absolutely gorgeous! Everything is very updated, the living space on the main floor is an open concept, which was great with a large group. Chelsie was a wonderful host, very responsive with returning my messages prior to booking, and she checked in with me during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and asking if we had any questions about anything during our visit. Every little detail was perfect, having shampoo & conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms, a blue tooth speaker in the shower, cards and games for us to use, these are just a few of the examples. We felt so at home here. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay in Grand Rapids not far from downtown, and you are looking for a place that feels like home- this is the one! So many restaurants, bars, and things to do near by. We hope to visit again in the summer months so we can make use of the beautiful outdoor patio area and of course the pool. Everyone in our group loved it here!

My friends and I had a wonderful getaway this weekend and this home was perfect reunion spot. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood and it’s off on its own a bit. The home is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and offers many spaces to relax with loved ones. We really enjoyed the pool, the fire pit, the deck, the grounds, and the beds. The beds were all very comfortable, we slept so well! There was plenty of space inside and outside of the home. We also enjoyed the 3 1/2 baths and how clean the house was when we arrived. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

It was magical fun for the “Christmas Princess Retreat” we created for our three young granddaughters. The unit was very spacious for them (& 4 adults) to move about, play and do many Princess activities! We did some baking and enjoyed many home cooked meals together quite comfortably. The 8th floor was fun to explore with the game rooms, library and vending machines. This was so much better than staying in a hotel! The unit was clean and spacious. I worried about finding the parking spots and our unit after reading one review, but all the needed info was provided one hour before check-in with a description and pictures. Well done! A cart was provided at our request for hauling two vehicles full of stuff up to the 11th floor. Every one of our questions received a quick response. The code to open our unit door didn’t work at first, but via an immediate text, we received a new code that did! We had a lovely stay, one our granddaughters will talk about for years to come. We do recommend!

We enjoyed our stay & would stay again. We were very surprised at how quiet it was. the walls are very thick so you really don’t hear your neighbors. We were on the 11th flr and had a great view of the sunrise. The beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. there is a giant library where you can hang out and play cards etc. we only found one board game , so bring your own cards. there are 2 game areas and some of the arcade games are free which is very kind. there is shuffleboard & pingpong. The management was very responsive and friendly. the check in instructions for our unit were confusing to us. it said east side of building which we couldn’t figure out, but that’s basically the left side of the building when you’re facing the front. once we knew that we were able to find our parking spot easily. it’s easy to get lost once inside, so it’s good to pay attention to landmarks and use stairwell numbers as a reference.

Definitely a kids zone!! My 4 & 6 year old grandsons loved the space, and the location is minutes from plenty of things to do…when not gaming! The 6 year old said “best vacation ever!!”

Great place to stay! Everything was as described and we were very comfortable. Host extended our checkout time which was very helpful and they always communicated clearly. Location was convenient to lots of local places including the farmer’s market and coffee shops.

While all of us are local to the Grand Rapids area, our stay at the Castle was a 2024 Christmas present to spend time together with family. We booked two 2 bedroom/2 bathroom units which were across the hall from each other. We were on the 11th floor of one of the towers and had a beautiful view to the west for sunsets and east for sunrises. Both units were well furnished, clean, with everything and more than we needed. The arcade room and library with a large table are great for hanging out and playing games. Communication about check in, amenities, building/room codes, parking, check out, etc was very clear and prompt. We asked for an hour late check out due to the time change and that was accommodated - thank you!! The Castle is very close to downtown Grand Rapids for all that our great city has to offer. Shoutout to Florentines for our great pizza dinner on Friday night.
