Vacation rentals with a patio in Kensington

This is easily one of the better Airbnbs I’ve stayed in—and I’ve stayed in plenty! The house is cozy, beautifully appointed, and has all the thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, going out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable for our stay. As a heads-up, you can hear the neighbors walking around upstairs, and they have their own creative way of reminding you if you’re a little too loud—they’re very communicative with their feet! It’s all part of the charm, though, and didn’t detract from my stay. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the Castro District, within walking distance to everything the neighborhood has to offer. I’ve already recommended this place to colleagues and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Keith’s place was in a great location. It was very easy to get around town. I highly recommend this unit. Very charming and lots of light. Note: just to reiterate what others have said, the house is on a steep hill. uber does not drive up the hill, rather they drop you off at the base of the hill, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. We loved walking the hills of San Francisco.

The Pacific was perfect for my daughter and me. The place had everything we needed, plus some nice pampering items in the bathroom. It would also be great for families with small children: a big backyard, games, safety precautions (ex. outlets had protective covers) and plenty of interior space. My only wish would have been to have a real oven. But it wasn’t truly necessary as there are lots of excellent restaurants nearby. You’ll find many suggestions and menus in the instruction binder. Shining and Devon were kind and very quick to respond. Good people. I’ll be back next time I’m in Alameda!

The rental was clean and comfortable, wonderfully decorated, and in a quiet neighborhood just below Bernal Hill. We enjoyed the bakeries and cafes on Cortland Street just 3 blocks down the street. James was responsive and helpful, very much wanting to make our stay comfortable. Thank you!

Bonnie and Ryan were super responsive and helpful, and always proactively sent out detailed instructions to make the check-in/check-out experience easier. Their place was lovely and in a super convenient location

Cozy spot in a beautiful area - was perfect for a little staycation

This was one of my top peaceful places I’ve been on Airbnb. It had everything listed, plush linens and towels on top of friendly hosts. It was truly a gem. I was in my own little corner. The neighborhood even made it feel like home. I literally extended twice I love it so much. Very flexible hosts when it was time to checkout but I hope I made it easy as I try to do at all my places and clean up before I go. I’ve already talked about coming back. If you’re thinking about booking don’t hesitate book now. I’m so glad I did. 10/10 would recommend.

The weather was wet and dreary while we were in the SF Bay Area, but Lisa’s beach house has a lot of amenities (cards, puzzles, games) that kept us busy while in doors. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils to cook our favorite meals. It was home away from home!

Leslie's place was so perfect! I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. The home is drenched with natural light throughout the day, and the kitchen was so beautiful. They had everything we needed.

Kit's place is fantastic in terms of location, accommodation, and value! The host is friendly and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. While we encountered an issue with the dishwasher during our stay, Kit worked to resolve it. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back with my family.

We came back and stayed here again. Shaun place was extremely clean and well stocked. He is also very responsive, which we appreciated.

The house was great- 4 nice sized bedrooms and a very quiet neighborhood. Lots of interesting decor throughout the house. We were able to check in a few hours early which we loved after a having long flight from the east coast. Excellent communication from the host. The views of San Francisco and the bridge were stunning (especially sunset). We would definitely stay there again.

This is nice Gem in the city. Love the privacy Brenda Provided. Also she and her husband responded quick when I needed help on something’s. Very clean place. Just like the pictures. Good restaurants in the area. Also her plums in her trees, delicious !!! I recommend this place !!

I had a wonderful stay at Tesfay’s place. The location was fantastic—close to excellent restaurants, Lake Merritt for outdoor activities, and convenient access to BART or the highway for trips to San Francisco and other nearby attractions. The unit was spotless and well-appointed, featuring a spacious bedroom, a cozy living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the Bay Area!

The rental is attached to a residence but, you could barely tell. It is your own private space and the rooms are so spacious. It was so nice to have all the amenities and even washer and dryer! Felt like home away from home and, as crowded as SF can get, we had our own parking spot right in front. Amazing location.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much care goes into maintaining it. The cleanliness was impeccable—everything sparkled, and it felt as though we were the very first guests to stay there. On top of that, the host was amazing! They responded to every question almost instantly and were so attentive to every detail, including having a pack and play and high chair waiting for us at check-in. It’s rare to find a place that exceeds expectations like this, but this one absolutely did. Highly recommend!

The place was clean. Sidharth was responsive when we were looking for items in the house and regarding check out time a bit later than planned.

Josephines place was a very modern space. loved the keyless entery to the whole building. the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. Walkable to many restaurants.

The apartment was very clean and in a great neighborhood. Communication was an A+ as well. I did not have a single issue and loved the condo. The bed was super comfortable!

Kimberly's place was cozy, clean and comfortable. You were aware when the kids were active but it was not a bother, I was truly able to get some quality me time. I would go back for my special get-a-aways again! Thank you Kimberly.
