Joy’s cabin was located in an amazing wooded area close to the Kenai River. The surroundings were clean and beautiful. Our cabin had a fully functional and well stocked kitchen and a large spacious bathroom. A table and chairs were on the porch and a picnic table was out front as well. We were lucky with the weather so appreciated having furniture outside for us to relax in. Having access to the river was a must for us and Joy’s cabin had that along with a riverside bench and a fish cleaning table. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a great experience, Joy!

Book it. Just do it - you will not regret it. We wanted to cancel our follow on reservations in girwood to stay another night. It was clean. Best kitchen I’ve ever had the opportunity to enjoy in an Airbnb. Nice pots and pans and everything ! Very spacious and beautiful views from the porch. Thanks for a great stay !

This place was amazing! Jessica has not overlooked any detail. We stay at a lot of different vacation rentals, and I have never been at such a well stocked home. Not only was the furniture amazing, the beds were super comfortable and there was no shortage of the daily necessities. On top of being a perfect location, Jessica was a super communicative and lovely hostess. I highly recommend this location!

This place was super cute and cozy! I needed a chill quiet weekend out of Anchorage and so happy I decided to stay here. The place was VERY clean! The bathroom was huge and I loved the shower. The bed was so super comfy!! The kitchenette was perfect for coffee and bagels in the morning and wine and apps at night. The hot tub was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here and it was very clean and relaxing!! The view here is beautiful in the winter—can only imagine how pretty the lake is in the summer time.

Brandon’s place is spectacular! The cabin was perfect…cozy, comfortable, great coffee. The bathrooms and showers were within 20 feet and were immaculate! Mountains are everywhere and The Salmon Bake restaurant around the corner served the best salmon and beer we had while in Alaska. Finally, Brandon is just a great host and communicator. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with him and his cabins.

We enjoyed this place so much! Amy it's such a sweet hearth and so helpful. She brought us some pie and pastry for breakfast the first day. She also help us arrange some kayaks with her neighbors, we took around 2 hrs kayaking the lake, which was empty and beautiful. The neighbord told us he saw moose on his property early in the morning, sadly we did not see any. The RV has everything we needed and more, cooking essentials, extra beddings, heating, hot shower, stove, etc. The dinner table was nicely arrange by the time we arrived. nWe had a lovely time here, we were able to rest and also do some outdoor activities, most of the land around is private property but is perfect to walk around.

The yurt was nice, clean and cozy! Once we arrived I didn’t want to leave. The view is breathtaking and the beach and water is right off the front porch with plenty of area to take a morning stroll next to the water. Highly recommend and we will be back!

This was an experience we will never forget (and will never stop talking about). TLDR: Worth the money. Amazing staff. Clean and comfortable. Insane views. Endless activities. Considering everything included, it is more than worth the nightly rate - especially with all activities being on your own schedule (or lack thereof). The staff were so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Simon pointed out and stopped for wildlife during the boat ride - even tried to get us close to the puffins we spotted! Our island host Haley was AMAZING. We were pleasantly surprised when they took our bags from the dock to the boat and then to our yurts - such a nice touch and start to our stay. The yurt itself was bigger than expected, so cozy, and very clean! The views..insane. The abundance of activities and ability to use the equipment whenever you would like was perfect. There is plenty to do regardless of if you prefer to be adventurous or relax, or both. Cannot wait to come back!

Christie was a fantastic host, very friendly, made suggestions for things to see and do. The cabin was perfect, clean, and extremely well stocked. Location was great for getting out, grocery near by. Seward and Cooper Landing were both very easy to get to and a beautiful drive from the airport in Anchorage.
