Dog- friendly cottage with woodburner & games room

Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.

Seas The Day is an 80 (ish) year old home, that housed fishing families from Newbiggin-By-The-Sea for decades. This spacious property has been refurbished throughout and is fully equipped. It is situated on a quiet residential street and a short walk from the main street (Front Street), the promenade, beaches, and the sea. Close by is the Co-Op, a butcher, a fruit and veg store, a fish and chip shop, and numerous eateries and pubs. This home is not set up for children. Pets are welcome.

We really enjoyed our stay in James’s air bnb. The home was very clean, well equipped and well decorated. The host was friendly and quick to respond to our messages. He was also able to provide a good quality high chair and a travel cot for my infant. The town of amble itself is beautiful and the Airbnb is situated within walkable distance to the high street. It is also a good location for exploring other parts of Northumberland. I would highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again when visiting Northumberland.

The Hemmel was a really nice cottage to stay in. It's probably one of the best airbnb's we've been to. Kate was very nice and helpful. The photos don't do it justice as it's even better in the flesh. We were a family of 4 including a baby and it was super comfortable. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The lambs were out when we were there and we saw the red squirrel in garden each day. We'd would definitely return.

Nice house 100m from the sea, easy to walk out to harbour and coast. All clean, tidy, warm, had all we needed. Good local shops and restaurants. Amble is a small coastal town with a marina and a working harbour (fresh fish at the restaurant was superb).

Lovely log cabin that was well equipped and pretty spacious for 4. Place was clean and Helen was very helpful and friendly. Good field for dog to run in and footpaths around the village and countryside for walks. Good views and peaceful location with lovely Allendale just 5 minute drive with some shops and pubs. Great hot tub. Short drive to Hadrian’s Wall sites and to Hexham - nice market town. Overall a great location to unwind and explore Northumberland.

Me, my partner and dog felt right at home there was food and water bowls provided for our dog, towels provided for us, it was like home from home so cozy and so well decorated! We will definitely be returning when the weather gets nicer to enjoy the beach’s Thank you so much for having us!

Lovely, cosy, spotlessly clean and comfortable wee cabin with everything you might need to have a good break. The location is perfect for visiting all the local attractions and Chris made some excellent suggestions and gave good advice about local amenities, including parking, etc which enhanced our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had an excellent stay at Inglenook, ideally situated for exploring. Dont be put off by proximity to A1, you can't hear it and was handy for getting about. We packed so much into the time we were there including a day trip to Edinburgh from Alnmouth train station. It isn't obvious from the description but there is a little hallway between the living area and the bedrooms which was a pleasant surprise as it meant we didn't have to tiptoe around too much after putting our little boy to bed. We had everything we needed and had a really comfortable stay. Thank you very very much!
