It is very quiet and within walking distance you are at Ratzeburger See, Küchensee in the forest, in the city center or at the train station. The bright, friendly apartment can accommodate two adults (with a child if necessary) and has a living room, a double bedroom, a kitchen, a shower room and a separate toilet. Dogs are very welcome.

Das Walnut Cottage ist ein bezauberndes kleines Bungalow aus den 50er Jahren das im Jahr 2023 komplett neu renoviert wurde. Es liegt im Schatten eines großen Wallnussbaums in sehr ruhiger Lage auf einem großen Gartengrundstück. Es ist nicht sehr groß, aber dafür sehr gemütlich und bis zum Strand ist es nur ein kurzer Fussweg. Die überdachte Terasse lädt einen zum Ausspannen und geniesen lauer Sommernächte ein.

Our beautiful official house is the former residence of the Duke of Oldenburg and is located in the back part of our estate, surrounded by greenery overlooking fields and meadows. The rooms are spacious and tastefully designed and even with many people you can always find your own retreat to breathe. We spontaneously decided on a short vacation and discovered this great place. The contact with the host was absolutely smooth, super fast and very friendly – you immediately feel welcome. The apartment is modern and well equipped, nothing is missing, and our dog would also have been warmly welcomed, which was a big plus for us. We particularly liked the spacious garden, which offers enough space for children to play – overall a very familiar and relaxed atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

It was our second stay at Quartierfreund, and we were completely satisfied again. The apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped. Especially the sauna and the bathtub were real highlights. Everything was clean, and the sea view from the balcony was simply fantastic. We had nothing to complain about and can only recommend the accommodation!

The perfect place for a vacation with a dog. When we arrived, there was already a pillow for our old dog on the (already warm) heater. The garden is large and fenced, and directly opposite the house a dirt road leads to the forest. The house is lovingly decorated, well equipped and cozy. Since Wahrendorf is a small village, the starry sky on clear nights is overwhelming.

We stayed with Nils and Annika for a week with our dog. We enjoyed the time in the quiet surroundings very much and spent a lot of time on the terrace. We also did a lot of activities and were grateful for every tip. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The contact with Annika and Nils was very friendly. Thanks for the great time.
