This is a dream place. Everything was well designed with good taste on appliances, decor, furnitures, linens… You have the feeling of being in a magazine model house. You have everything you need and more! I stayed in contact with Danielle who didn’t measured efforts to quickly give any extra support that we needed. Thank you! The window view was stunning, the bathtub well cleaned, and all the kitchen utensils in great condition. We will definitely come back!

The location of Heather's house was an ideal for my sister (from Florida) and I (from Maine) to visit with our family in the area. The home has comfortable beds, great showers, well equipped kitchen and livingroom. A great home base to return to after our days filled with activities. Thank you.

We stayed at Reagan's cottage in the woods for our short babymoon weekend. It was the perfect, quiet retreat we were looking for. We had a lovely dinner out in Leesburg and otherwise enjoyed the peaceful accommodations in the woods. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved the home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Aram was very responsive. There are lovely bird feeders on the deck that can be filled with provided birdseed and we observed many beautiful birds attending the feeders! The kitchen has everything you'll need and was clean and spacious. The firepit was peaceful and there is a path to do a 5-8 minute hike that starts right out the back door and goes around their property to observe nature. We visited the Himalayan Salt Cave in town and found it very relaxing and unique! There are many unique and fun shops to visit for souvenirs and other gifts. The only drawback we noted about the entire stay was having to drive 12-15 minutes to get out to the main road if we needed to run out to grab something - but that was listed in the property description, so we tried to plan ahead and get everything we needed in advance to avoid side trips.

What an amazing view! Every room is perfectly decorated. Anything you could possibly need was available. We visited during a cold spell so enjoyed the indoor fireplace, complete with plenty of fire starters, seasoned logs, and s’mores fixings! Enjoyed meeting Ozzy the tortoise. Also spotted deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and a rabbit. We had our binoculars but didn’t get them out as Ally supplied a better pair. Ally responded quickly to questions. We had a terrific anniversary and highly recommend you book here.

We had such a wonderful weekend celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday at Stephanie’s river house! The house was clean, modern, and lots of amenities and little touches that truly made it feel like home. We especially loved enjoying our meals in the little nook outside the kitchen wit a lovely view of the water. The place is private, very quiet, and has everything anyone would need for having fun inside and outside the home. It’s been years since we’ve roasted marshmallows over an open fire, but we took full advantage in doing so at night at the outside fire pit. Roasted marshmallows, open fire, comfy Adirondack chairs, by the river-doesn’t get much better than that! Stephanie was very quick in replying to every question I sent her way, from before I made the reservation all the way up through and including when we checked out. And speaking of check-out…check-in and check-out was a breeze. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away for the weekend, or longer!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It has all the necessities and was a very comfortable space. If you come off season, be mindful that you are 20+ minutes from most restaurants and shops. You also are in the mountains so service is limited beyond the WiFi of the cabin!

Amazing place for littles and parents! The playground is great, there are toys, books and puzzles for kids to play with. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could want for cooking, and there is a great coffee set-up (as shown in the pictures). The beds were very comfortable! (Always a big deal for me). And the hot tub and deck are so nice! The whole very clean, but still felt very comfortable and homey. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this place is perfect. Remote with beautiful trails nearby to explore the river. Would absolutely come back!

everything about the house and the host were fantastic! The house is such a neat blend of historic and modern. There was so much space, natural light and beautifully decorated. Truly a beautiful home. Spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly maintained. Beautiful views of the mountains. Even though we were able to do less exploring and hiking in the area than we would have liked due to the snow and cold, we had a wonderful, cozy time up atop the hill there. (Rana warned us about the snow several days in advance, so we were mentally prepared). Hope to get back again sometime in spring, summer, or fall.

Home was clean and as described. It was large and roomy. Outside had a nice yard to play in. Harper’s Ferry town and the national historic park are amazing places to visit. Lots to do and see even in March. I would visit again and stay at this home again.
