Vacation rentals in Kearney County

We had a great time! Was a great place for kids to stay big backyard and also great for pets! If you are wanting a fun weekend stay in Kearney this is the place to stay. The instructions were clear and easy. The home provided everything needed for a fun, relaxing stay.

The space was clean and kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating in. It was cozy, warm and inviting. Minden does not have many places to stay and places like this are needed. During Christmas, the lights on the court house are literally outside your window. There are quite a few stairs to get to the unit so be aware if you have mobility issues. Don and Joy were super hosts. Very helpful and nice. Thanks for sharing your space with me. I will definitely stay there again.

We stay at Nicole’s place every March whenever the dates line up. It’s great. So peaceful. Wonderful property. I’m a “clean freak” and I’m always comfortable here. The cabin is very clean and has all the necessary amenities. Quite frankly, I love it!

A truly 5-star rating across the board. Artistic, vibrant space. Great location. Very clean. Host communicated easily. Highest of recommendations to stay. I spent a week here during a very challenging time. This was a perfect refuge in a quiet, creative space. I loved it.

We came to see the cranes, and the cabin was only 5 minutes from the Plautz Crane Viewing Platform, so we chose it for the location. But also my family liked the property (it was an under-10-minute walk to one of the Platte channels), the front porch, the television, the well-stocked kitchen, the separate bedrooms, and the gas stove in the living area. Cranes flew directly over the cabin in the morning. We are breakfast at the cabin and used the Keurig coffee maker and supplied coffee. Drove into Kearney for dinner.

Great place to stay, location is close to downtown and easy to get into and out of. Catrina was incredibly helpful and a great host.

This was my second time to stay at Mary’s Crain Cottage. It certainly might go to spot in the Kearney area! My only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer. The walk down to the river was relaxing and allowed me to see several birds and even deer. I look forward to staying here again next year.

We stayed here to watch the crane migration, and had a great time! We were able to walk to a bridge on the bike trail to watch the cranes in the evening. The area was very private and beautiful, and we loved getting to try a tiny house for a night! The house was clean and organized and had everything we needed to make breakfast and get going for the day. The stay was lovely. Thank you!

We came for the cranes and were not disappointed. Didn’t need to leave the property, they were there! Hit by a blizzard, power went out, but we were warm and cozy thanks to an ancient gas furnace. The owners came out IN A BLIZZARD to check on us and again to bring water so we could flush the toilet. Above and beyond! Read the reviews carefully, they are all correct, good and bad. This is not a place for everyone, but it was a sweet spot for us.
