Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kawasaki

What a beautiful home rich in history and yet perfectly comfortable and peaceful for everyday living. It was so nice to have breakfast overlooking your own personal zen garden. I picked this place in a town that isn’t on most tourists radar because of this home and best of all, there’s a cafe attached to it that serves the tastiest lunch and dessert. But I had some of my most favorite meals of my trip in Japan in this city. My son loved swinging on the swing in the courtyard. The host was very accommodating and helpful in getting us through our trip

We stayed five nights here and enjoyed the space, convenience and the very comfortable beds. Recommended.

The heating was also very well in each room, so it was nice that it wasn't cold when I slept. However, I only wanted to turn on the heating, so it was a little dry. Overall, it was clean and I had a good stay in a comfortable atmosphere. Whenever I inquired, I appreciated the quick response:)

Spent 3 weeks in Japan, across Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo and by far, this was the best AirBnB location! Absolutely fantastic location, it’s at the heart of Koenji where there are eateries, thrift shops, supermarkets. And Koenji is 3 JR stops to Shinjuku (10mins). In the house, it’s fully stocked with all the amenities you need in a home, especially useful if you have 3 kids. Pots, pans, cups, washing machine, dryer…and the best part is that everything in the house is clearly labelled, making it very easy to follow. She also proved clear recommendations on where to eat, how to move about in Koenji, how to move luggage to and from the airport. All in all, it’s a great place to stay and highly recommended if you are planning to visit Tokyo! Thanks for the great place and memories.

Great location. Easy to get around both walking and with public transport. Ash and Tracey were really responsive and proactively helpful. Obviously really experienced and great at what they do. Everything was as described and really easy. Highly recommend the pencil house.

Yume and Jeni were wonderful hosts, and we greatly enjoyed our stay in their home. The home was very cozy, and easily accessible by two subway stops - it was a breeze getting around Tokyo, being a short subway ride from major tourist attractions, while being able to recover every evening in a quiet, comfortable neighbourhood. Many of the restaurants and izakaya in the neighbourhood were super friendly, and familiar with tourists. The early morning walks along the nearby river is a wonderful highlight, and was so rejuvenating. Yume and Jeni gave very clear instructions and helpful guidance leading up to our check in, and were also super supportive throughout our stay. Their place is a fantastic choice for any traveller who is looking for a quiet and comfortable stay in Tokyo, with lovely hosts. We look forward to staying with Jeni and Yume again the next time we are back in Tokyo!

Second time I’ve stayed at this apartment, I really love the area and how easy it is to walk to Shibuya station. There are great bars and restaurants outside, and the shops are a five minute walk away. You’ve got great department stores near by such as Parco and Shibuya 109 etc. The apartment is great, with all the amenities you need. The deep bath tub is great for relaxing after a heavy day of sightseeing! Check-in is also easy. Kei is a responsive and friendly host, always gets back to you quickly. Thank you again, Kei! Tia's place is strategically located in a housing area within Shinjuku, with the nearest subway station a <10 mins walk with minimal terrain. Tia will prepare a full pdf file containing everything that you need to know about her place and the neighbourhood, plus also preparing some unconventional amenities such as pocket wifi (2x), dryer and washing machine for your convenience. This place is also ideal for someone that travels with large suitcases, as you'll be dragging along the flat sidewalks and Tia's place is located on the ground floor. There's also a convenience store just 30 secs away from her place, where you can get everything and also request for luggage delivery (Takyubbin) services. Tia is very friendly and will make sure that your stay is as good as it can get. Will highly recommend her place to a large travelling group/family.

It was a simple room, but with the necessary amenities we needed, such as a washer. The toilet area was a little small. We were able to adjust to the space. We saw bikes but did not get a response back if we could use it. Bikes are needed in the area to get further into the city. We walked a lot. The location was very close to the Yõga train station, market, and restaurants.

This place is on the smaller end so I would not recommend to any group larger than 2 people. Other than that, it was a great place to stay! It’s close to many different areas and easy to navigate from. Yuri was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions I had. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Clear, helpful instructions sent a few days before check in. Easy to get to/from Narita airport via airport limousine bus. Great location close to shibuya crossing.

We had an amazing stay here! The house was clean and had all necessary amenities which were well maintained. The location was pretty close to Hatagaya station which made it easy to travel. It was reasonably peaceful at night as well. I recommend it!

We spent 4 nights in Sho’s bnb room. It’s convenient to reach by subway (red line) which is 3 stops from Shinjuku station by 7mins. The check-in guide is clear and easy to understand. I sincerely recommend this bnb to the tourists who have a trip based on Shinjuku station(one-day trip to Fuji mountain, one-day trip to Kamakura, tax-free shopping in Shinjuku.

easy check in, really cute place to stay with everything that you might need

Great find in Kamakura for our very short stay. Toshi has been very responsive from the start. Plenty of guides and clear instructions given to ease us into the check in and help us explore the area. Room 202 is exactly as pictured. Nice cosy space with lots of amenities provided. Bed size is Japanese standards but it’s very comfy though it’s a bit small than what we are used to. Love the sea views from the room and the surroundings is so peaceful. Would stay here if we visit Kamakura again.

Loved how close this location was to the station, easy walk to get to other districts within Tokyo utilizing public transportation. Airbnb was clean, and worked perfectly for our party of 4 to travel and explore Japan. Host was accommodating, and extremely responsive when issues arose. Would suggest this for a location in Tokyo.

Our second time here. Love the location very close to Gotanda station and central access to Yamanote line. Peaceful and near very good restaurants. Bryan is friendly and very quick to respond. We would come back to stay again!

We stayed at the beautiful apartment with our four year old daughter. She had her own little playroom, which was awesome. We really enjoyed the place that felt like a home. The area is supercool with a bunch of vintage shops and great restaurants. Would come back anytime!

This is the second time we have stayed here in the past year. Hank's place is in a great location. On a quiet street, but easy to access both Shibuya and Harajuku and their respective stations. It's a small place, but works great for 2 or 3 people like our group.

Always a great place to stay. Easy check in. Mathew is responsive and very helpful. Easy access to shops, restaurants and near Shiba Park as well as different transport options. Despite its central location, it’s nice and quiet and the flat itself is spacious, well equipped flat.
