Best place to stay in Alleppey! The cottage is couple-friendly, and the hospitality is exceptional. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful both the place and the people are—it’s truly a must-visit experience. We especially enjoyed the music system, which made for a relaxing ambiance while dining or unwinding. The stay was safe and pleasant, and a special thanks to Ms. Pearl, Ms. Tina, and Mr. Nafaf for their kindness and support. They guided us seamlessly to the accommodation, provided great recommendations for exploring Alleppey, and even assisted with local rentals. The reception staff were also wonderful, helping us find an auto-rickshaw during checkout. Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!

Great option for international travelers! Sam provided additional details and tips regarding local restaurants and facilities. The onsite caretaker was helpful to get everything setup and ask questions. Amenities were solid - hot water in bathrooms and AC in all rooms. Thanks!

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

Our houseboat stay in Charlotte Cruise was a wonderful experience. The highlight was the incredible food, the crew cooked delicious meals using the fresh ingredients we bought from the market. The sunset cruise was also a memorable moment, made even better with a glass of wine as we enjoyed the peaceful backwaters. The route was decent, offering scenic views. However, there was an issue with the air conditioning in our room. It caused a delay in our check-in, and at night, the AC kept turning on and off, making it hard to sleep. We truly appreciate the staff’s efforts, they were attentive and did their best to fix it, even manually adjusting the power at 1 AM. Thankfully, there was a fan to help. Despite this, we had a great stay. The hospitality of the crew made all the difference, and their service ensured we still enjoyed our time on the boat.

What a lovely stay in the tranquil canals of the backwaters. While different from many other air bnb's we've stayed in (there is no private kitchen, for example), Praveen and his family's upstairs space is a nest of comfort! With two large rooms, each with separate bathroom, and a large common area, it is a half in and half out living space with a beautiful vista over the canal. Papa is an unbelievably generous and skilled cook, who delighted our tastebuds with "Kerela specials" and made our kids favorite requests (coconut pancakes!). He even made us some lemon and mango pickle for the road! Praveen's mother is a sweet kind presence, too. And not enough good words can be said about Praveen as host. Willing and generous with time, his network of connections allowed us to experience and enjoy all that this region has to offer...from kayaking to sunrise boating to errands in Allapy city--Praveen helped with every one of these with grace and humor. Thank you all!!

I wasn’t prepared for how much I enjoyed staying at Samjana’s place. She’s an architect and designed the whole building herself. From the polished brick floors feeling delightful on my bare feet to the open balconies and kitchen, to waking up with an incredible view of the jungle birds and animals, we loved the balance between modern design and natural beauty. With Samjana’s internet booster, I was also able to work comfortably there. And we found delicious restaurants and friendly fruit & veg vendors at the junction within walking distance. We’re grateful for Samjana creating this place and sharing it with us. 🙏🏼
