- Great location, within walking distance to the beautiful Patan Durbar Square. - Nigen accommodates us for very late night check-in when our flight was delayed, met us in front of the place, and checked us in right away at midnight. - Very beautiful place, exactly as was pictured. - Nigen and team provided a personalised local guide for things to do, food to try, etc. - Before, during, and after our stay, Nigen was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Would 100% recommend Nigen’s place to anyone coming to Kathmandu.

Christian and his family are saints, we had a very perilous journey on scooter from Sauraha to Pharping and were kindly received by these incredible hosts, warm comfy beds in creative bamboo houses on top of an incredible valley filled with wildlife. The Pharping area is definitely worth a trip from KTM, Darkshinkali temple cannot be missed, and Tibetan Buddhism is massive here, more monastries than I can count. Amazing.

Our few days of stay at Rahul's place was a literally a blessing both in terms of cleanliness and the sight of the Swayambhu Stupa straight out of the balcony. i recommend his place to anyone visiting Kathmandu, it's in a quiet neighborhood but not far from restaurants, bakeries and convenience stores for a quick bite. The entire apartment was spotless clean and felt very welcomed in the Tibetan thyme design. definitely a super five star place and appreciate Rahul's help in every ways to make our stay comfortable. Kudos to the Super host!!!!!

Perfect spot in the heart of Thamel!

Perfect launching pad for our week long visit to Kathmandu. Quick walk to local tourist areas and an easy pick up location for cab rides. Dil’s on site nephew was a nice touch also. Excellent value! Thanks Dil!

Sudeep is an amazing host. He, his family and all the staff went above and beyond with their kindness, genuine service and help. Which I greatly appreciated. The guesthouse is a hidden gem in a great location, on a quiet backstreet, yet a quick walk to the Stupa, restaurants, monasteries and all Bouddha has to offer. I was very happy in the apartment. It felt like a home away from home. It is quiet, light, spacious, very comfortable bed, reliable wifi and hot water. The kitchen has everything you need. The sunny terrace is a great bonus, as well as the lovely tranquil garden. The sweet house cats add to the family vibe I am most grateful to have met & stayed at Sudeeps. I had a health issue during my 6 week stay Sudeep and his family’s heartfelt concern, care & support was above and beyond, and made all the difference. Sudeep arranged treatment at the apartment and I was able to recuperate enough to travel home on schedule Thank you Sudeep! I 100% recommend staying here!

Shailendra's guesthouse is a gem! After trekking in the mountains, spending 6 nights at his place felt like coming home. Nestled near Patan Durbar Square, the guesthouse is situated in a quaint, historic area of Kathmandu, where narrow streets devoid of cars wind through charming alleys filled with cozy cafes and eateries. Without hesitation, I recommend this location over Thamel (in my opinion, at least). The space itself exudes charm and comfort, with a homely ambiance. The Wi-fi was reliable, which was important considering I had quite a bit of work to get done. Oh, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! Above all, Shailendra's hospitality sets this guesthouse apart. In my 10+ years as an Airbnb user, he stands out as one of the finest hosts I've encountered. His warmth, assistance, and brief nightly chats added a personal touch, truly transforming the stay into a home.
