Wow what can I say this place was amazing. We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed every second of it. The accommodation worked well, we are a family of 4 and so used the two ground level rooms which had double beds, their own bathroom, AC and plenty of space. The communal areas were lovely and there was lots of seating and a great pool. Fehim and Naasir who work at the house were brilliant always making sure we didn't need anything, checking about food choices and helping to arrange transport when needed. The food was really good and we ate 11 amazing meals, cooked to preferences and discussed in advance. We chose to try Sri Lanka food and are so glad that we did, we tried so many amazing dishes and drinks. We booked safari's to Yala and Bundala in advance with Sabirah.

We had a great stay at Patricia's . The hut we stayed in was small but adequate for our family of five. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have a fridge to store some of the food that we brought onto the site. We all loved the site, especially the swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Patricia was very helpful with booking our safari and advising us when to go and for how long. She and her staff made us some delicious meals while we were there and made sure we felt well looked after. I'd recommend Patricia's place for anyone needing a place to stay whilst visiting the nearby national parks. Thank you Patricia and all at the Kirinda Beach house.

Our days in Tissa have been unforgettable!!! Our experience with Wasantha in his camp has been simply special (and perfect!!!)...the location is unique, completely surrounded by nature and the rooms are tipycal for a safari adventure!! Wasantha and his team are so friendly and helpful! They bring us to Yala Safari but also prepare for us wonderful meals! The last dinner was in the camp with only the light of the fire and the stars! Wasantha told us a lot of his culture...and this thing is so interesting and special! We have leave a piece of our heart there!! Absolutely recommended!!!!!

Incredible place to stay, the tend was very good. Also they prepared a bbq for us for dinner that it was amazing. Ishar woke up at 4:30AM to help us with our bags when we were leaving for the safari. I recommend this place for everyone who is visiting Yala. We also found some peacocks in front of our door!!

We had an amazing stay here, the host is extremely responsive and friendly. Check in was smooth and welcoming especially during a horrendous thunderstorm. We were welcomed with towels to clean our faces and a lemon juice which was lovely. We booked our yala safari through the host which was INCREDIBLE! Cannot recommend booking through these enough, we were beyond lucky to see 2 leopards which was all down to our fantastic driver. Cabanas were spacious and clean, the bed was huge and so comfy. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we would definitely stay here again!

This is the best villa we have stayed by yala! The pool was an amazing addition and the caretaker was warm and very welcoming and accommodated all our needs with ease! As for meals, the chef did a fantastic job! Be sure to bring vegetables with you to avoid hassle of availability around town. The guys can only cook food from local stores, and they might not have good quality items. Our driver was able to stay in the tent. Overall really amazing place once the initial minor hiccups were sorted out. Would def come back for Sumeda’s hospitality!!

What a special place. We travelled with three young children and felt so at home here. It is one of the most beautiful patches of land I’ve ever seen in terms of wildlife and the immediate setting. It’s so wild and pretty and yet the staff keep everything pristine like the pool area etc. The food was wonderful too. The safari was excellent and even my 3.5 year old managed it and loved it! We booked a transfer onwards and the van was great with a really good baby seat for our 9 month old. We met Madu several times and he was so lovely, just a very special home environment but suitably high end enough too. Thank you Madu and Kristin!

It's a treasure trove for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

The staff/team was extremely friendly and helpful. Service was excellent and they made us feel right at home. Food was tasty and welll cooked. Rooms were huge and very clean, bathrooms were also huge and super clean. The team arranged for safari very nicely, and were very accommodative with all our ever changing requests. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Yala. Thank you Rohan and team.
