Great area with wonderful restaurants! Easy to get around and lots to do in the area. Host was very helpful and has great recommendations. Responded promptly and help us with all our questions. It was a very cozy stay. Super clean and comfortable with lots of room! Accommodations were wonderful. Two full bathrooms and comfortable living rooms and kitchen.

Lovely place to stay close to dontonbori main street. but cosy for 4 kids and 4 adults but did the job in having a clean and safe place to rest. x2 toilets and x2 showers were a massive plus as we had 2 families. host was super nice in providing us with some fruit and cake for us daily. a sweet gesture and very thoughtful. thank you very much for your kindness. definitely recommend.

This was a comfortable place, perfect for two people. It’s conveniently located near public transportation, which made it easy for us to get around and explore Kyoto. A solid choice for anyone visiting the city!

Very good apartment for 4 people. The location is more than excellent, with good restaurants nearby, and a few minutes from Dotombori. The cleanliness and the kitchen equipment could be improved. Thank you so much for hosting us, we had a great time!

There is a very big cherry blossom tree downstairs!Although it is a distance from the subway, there are many cherry blossom trees in the parks along the way.It is worth mentioning that there are also many cherry blossom trees along the Kamo River on this side of Kuju, and there are very few people.The room is very big, the environment feels very new, but the sound insulation is particularly bad, it feels like someone is running upstairs all the time.

Check-in is very easy, the host is very considerate to provide popular restaurants around, there is a large supermarket nearby, you can buy some fruit and snacks, transportation is also very convenient, I will book here again next time!

We are four adults and one child. Three rooms. The environment is good. It is very hygienic and clean. The facilities are fully equipped. It would be better if they could provide a few more bottles of water. Anyway, I recommend everyone to stay here.

This stay had lots of amenities and was thoughtfully planned out! Good for a long term stay. Very spacious and comfortable. Host very responsive and helped when the water dispenser ran out. So nice to have a kitchen area, dining, couch area and washer/dryer. The stay is a bit of a walk from the station and to the historical centre. 7 min walk to convenience stores, though the area gets a bit dark at night. A quiet area. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Really liked the accommodation. Didn’t realise it’s right next to the red light district lol. The room I booked wasn’t available which was a bit annoying but the owner gave me the option to refund or change rooms and I changed and it was great. I’m happy with the stay.

Good access from Kyoto Shijo.The room has four bunk beds, but the upper bunks are a little difficult to climb.It's a mixed room, but the shower is in the room.

I had a very pleasant stay for two weeks at Shirahama. I had no knowledge of the area, but I was drawn to being somewhere by the sea, somewhere peaceful and quiet. I had a small private room, that was very clean when I arrived. They had also opened the windows to let out any damp smells, which disappeared after the first day once I settled. There was good wifi, great heating, and hot water. For me it was a perfect place to have some peace. The halls and exterior of the hotel are old and not in good condition, but the room was of a very good standard. The hotel is also just across the road from the beach and FamilyMart, with other convenience stores and restaurants close by, so it has everything you need. There was actually a lot of places to visit in Shirahama, such as the Heisogen park which was really amazing and full of cherry blossom trees, the Senjojiki cliffs, and the Banshoyma Park, just by the sea. I could not recommend this place enough!

Awesome little hostel! Very nice neighborhood. Close walk to the train station. Self check-in was super easy. Bed was comfy. Clean bathrooms. Fridge and locker in room. Only stayed for one night, but I would definitely stay here again!
