Storme was an incredible host, with very prompt, friendly, professional, and helpful communication. The home is GORGEOUS! We felt so comfortable, very well looked after, and would thoroughly recommend staying at The Duchess to anyone looking into it. It’s very handy to get to places. Supermarkets and malls are close, great coffee nearby, gorgeous surroundings, VERY quiet, the pool is such a treat, and we just had the best time in this huge gorgeous home. Beautifully decorated and styled both inside and out, so many amenities, and the cleanest and tidiest property I’ve ever hired. Thank you so much, Storme, for making sure we were so well looked after and had everything we needed. Sad that our time at The Duchess has come to an end, but hoping to come back again one day. 10/10 for sure. Thank you!

Great place to stay. We were able to go to Australia Zoo but also theme parks. Hosts were great. We booked very last minute and they were able to accomodate. Enjoyable overall

Very nice house in a quiet leafy suburb. Close to shops and the river. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Everything we needed was there.

Tammy's place was lovely. It is comfy, very clean and well equipped. We found the pool area fantastic and it's a great place to sit and enjoy the warm Queensland evenings or to cool off during the day. Tammy is a caring and friendly host, and she made our Christmas very special by accommodating our request to invite family over for Christmas lunch. We highly recommend staying and hope to return in the near future.

Overall we were incredibly happy with our stay. The house felt like a home away from home and had everything we need for an enjoyable stay. There was nothing that was missing in terms of household items and we loved the fact that we felt right at home. Really a perfect place for us to hold our family Christmas. The area is a lovely suburb of Brisbane, quiet and friendly. Close to public transport with an easy bus ride into the city. Thanks so much for hosting us, would definitely rebook if we were in brissy again.

Loved our stay. Much needed relaxation. The cottage had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. The only thing that disappointed us was not getting a visit from Remus 😂

If we could give this Airbnb 6 stars, we would. Nestled in a very peaceful part of Brisbane and right near Lone Pine, Barry and Lynn provide one of the nicest stays you could hope for. As hosts, they are both very friendly and helpful and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We found it to be very well stocked with anything you could possibly need, even more than our own home! I'd you're planning to be in or near this area, we cannot recommend Barry & Lynn's place any more.

Very easy and good to stay there.

Beautiful tropical outdoor area for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Comfortable beds, great location. We booked it over Christmas so Shane decorated with a Christmas tree for the kids. Welcomed with a lovely basket of snacks and drinks. Definitely recommend.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Jo’s place! It was so beautiful and we felt right at home. 10/10 loved this beautiful home!

Lovely little cottage, very comfortable.

Sandra and Andrew have created a lovely home away from home. From the moment you step inside you can tell they have put a lot of effort and love into this home. Nice and spacious, with many amenities. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully, the kitchen and laundry is well stocked, there’s a beautiful front deck and yard to enjoy the day. We really loved our time here and will definitely be coming back!

Brett was a great host and went out of his way to accommodate us during our stay. The house was in a great location and perfect for a weekend away. Will definitely stay again.

Very lovely furnished and comfortable home. Private and spacious. Beautiful fully fenced backyard, patio and porch. Our dog felt very comfortable and accommodated. Carolyn very approachable and responsive. Wonderful luxury touches making the stay even more enjoyable!

We only had an overnight stay. The place was nice and accommodating for our group. Would recommend.

We stayed at 41 Meckiff St and found it to be a comfortable and pleasant home. The location is great—quiet, close to a park, and within easy reach of a shopping mall and the city. The peaceful neighborhood and the sound of birds in the morning added a nice touch to our stay. The house has parking space for two cars, conveniently located right in front of the property, which was very handy. However, there are some areas for improvement. Only the living room and main bedroom have air conditioning, while the other two bedrooms rely on ceiling fans. For us, having AC in all rooms would have been preferable. The water flow in the bathroom was slow, which made using the facilities less than ideal. Additionally, the bedroom doors are made of PVC folding material, which doesn't block noise well and cannot be locked, compromising privacy. Overall, it’s a cozy house with a convenient location, but a few updates would significantly enhance the experience.

I stayed as a retreat, the interiors & outdoor space were gorgeous. I felt at home. The kitchen was perfect as I love to cook. The bathroom could use an update, but was not a detraction. The charm of the residence, handy location & such a helpful host made me sure I’ll return. In fact, I wish I had time to stay longer. If a guest can handle taking their luggage up the stairs the cottage is perfect. Typical Queenslander charm & very clean.

Kate was a fantastic host! We booked her home for a few employees who were working nearby. Due to changes happening on site, we had to make amendments to our booking. Kate was so understanding and helped us massively with changing the dates around for us. She couldn't have been more accommodating!! The employees were happy and had no complaints during their stay. We would definitely book again if back in the area. Highly recommend. Thanks again Kate! :)

Could not fault our stay. The house was beautiful and spotless clean. Had an issue with the front door and rang Abigail who answered immediately and issue was sorted within minutes.

Spacious tidy 4 bedroom house with a lovely front balcony shaded with trees. The back balcony is quiet, private and has a nice breeze with a view of more trees. The kitchen had everything we needed and I enjoyed a lot of cooking and baking during our stay. The usual condiments were available plus tea, coffee and biscuits which is always a nice touch. Plenty of spare pillows, blankets and towels too. We have only good things to say about this house. The hosts were very responsive and proactive. There is a big park just down the road which is walking distance and which we frequented most afternoons. We would recommend this stay.

‘I could live here’ quite easily. Great getaway and very well set out. Great upstairs/downstairs, in/outside flow - out family of 6 fits easily and comfortably - great kitchen and bathrooms also that was very clean - and the pool was just on point - kids loved this! I had a ball just ‘chillin’ in this great getaway- hope to do it again- This place will not disappoint - loved it!!

Lovely clean & spacious property on the river. Close to where we needed to be. Air cons in all rooms worked great. Well equipped kitchen with equipment and condiments etc. Plentiful clean linen. Lots of seating, great bbq area and front verandah overlooking the river. Tennis/basketball court for use, even though we didn’t use it. Feel it could easily accommodate up to 10 people with a couple of sofa beds, but only sleeps 6 as is. Would definitely stay here again as it was close to family. Was at the higher end of our budget but well Priced for what you get.
