Waterfront vacation rentals in Kandy

A very beautiful apartment placed in a lovely serene area yet close to the attractions. It met out expectations and beyond. A very friendly check in and check out, homely place. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Nuwara Eliya. They even provide a heater for a decent price. All the amenities were maintained very well.

Wunderschöne, riesige Villa mit fantastischen Blick und tollen Gastgebern. Auf individuelle Wünsche, z.B. beim Essen wird eingegangen. Die Anfahrt ist sehr abenteuerlich, da die Straßenverhältnisse zur Villa schwierig sind. Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen, dafür aber auch dementsprechend mitten in der Natur, mit Affen im Garten und Blick über den See.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Nilantha et Bilani !! Cest une famille très accueillante et la communication était très facile. Leur maison est très agréable, située dans un environnement paisible, à proximité du lac et de nombreuses randonnées. Les lits des chambres sont très confortables et la grande terrasse ainsi que la grande pièce de vie sont très agréables. On recommande chaleureusement !

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, lots of space inside, kitchen with everything we needed, washing machine and a nice balcony with lake view and beautiful trees with monkeys playing. My entire stay at Edgar Mansion was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the thoughtful attention to detail in the decor. Every corner of the house exuded a sense of elegance and warmth, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to Chef Reggie and his talented team. Not only did they prepare extraordinary meals that delighted the senses, but they also went above and beyond to attend to all our needs with genuine care and professionalism. Their dedication truly elevated the entire experience.

A great apartment within easy walking distance of the lake and temple. The hosts were super friendly, and the accommodation was very clean—we felt right at home and spontaneously extended our stay! Due to the thin Styrofoam gaps at the top of the walls, we occasionally heard some noise from traffic, monkeys, or between our own rooms. That said, we had no issues with mosquitoes or cold air, and we would happily book another stay with Lakmal and his wife!

The place is incredible and looks exactly like the photos. There‘s a lot of space for two people. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. It is peaceful but you do need a tuktuk to get to the city center because the way is long and the streets are steep. But if you like the nature, this place is made for you.

We booked Cheshan's place in less than 12 hours before arriving. The host quickly replied to our questions. He and the caretaker were very helpful and agreed to take our luggage for storage before checking in. The place itself is lovely and within walkable distance to the center and the lake. The apartment is in the new building with underground parking and a pub nearby. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this apartment for fellow travelers.
