Vacation rentals with lake access in Kandy

Great place with a direct lake view. Had room heaters made our stay very comfortable.

Charles is one of the most organized hosts ever! Special mention for Devi who looks after the property. She is warm and becomes a family member quickly. Charles always takes care of things neatly. The house is beautiful in a private and charming location that looks to the lake. Lovely rooms and good amenities. Great for comforting stays.

Rasheed was a superb host. He was always responsive and extreamly helpful. We had our older mother with us and he took the utmost care of us. He even gave us a ride to town. He shared with us so much knowledge about Kandy, with recommendations of where to eat, things to do, culture and history. The place is simply amazing and very close to the lake. We had an amazing stay and wished it was longer.

Our stay at Everdew Kandy was fantastic! The host was incredibly hospitable, going out of their way to help us order food and provide clear directions. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils and amenities. It felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to any family visiting Kandy – a perfect stay with a kind and helpful host!

Me and my family stayed for one night. This place is good.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, somewhat remote, villa with amazing surroundings. We walked down to the river, did yoga on the patio and had Ayurvedic treatments next door. The owner is a charming person with a beautiful vision for the place. He was very friendly and took time out to show us around the garden and let us try fresh herbs and spices. I would recommend to have a car so that you can get to Kandy and visit all beautiful and inspiring sights the area has to offer.

Thank you for our stay. Helan was a terrific host and the breakfast was one of the best we had in our one month long stay in Sri Lanka. The place was large and spacious and quite authentically representative of the properties in Nuwara Eliya (“little England”). Fit the 12 of us and the room configuration was great for a large group. Well located, 2 mins drive from Lake Gregory with a coffee shop right next door. Clean place with property manager on site and easily accessible for any and all needs. One bedroom had very nice views of Lake and mountains etc. Comfortable stay for our group of 6, including young children. Small print improvements: some hotel property closeby had some Xmas, NY parties (usually 9 pm - 12 am) and somewhat audible bass. Not the owners' fault but for fussy sleepers to consider. No indoor heating, so may need to layer up indoors during winter months.
