Vacation rentals in Kamøyvær

Ola’s cabin was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The area around the cabin was beautiful and provided the most stunning views to wake up to in the morning. The cabin was well equipped and furnished well. Everything you could need was included. Petrol Station with small shop was located 10 minutes down the road with bigger shops being located around 1 hour away. If visiting, i’d highly recommend the 2 hour drive to Nordkapp, the highest point in Continental Europe. The drive up the E69 has lovely scenery and there is a cafe, gift shop and museum. The drive is more than achievable as long as you have a AWD car. There are busses from Honningsvåg if that is more accessible. Overall, amazing stay. Thank you 🙏🏻

We were there to drive to the North Cape. From the first moment we felt very much at home It was like visiting acquaintances. Everything was very well prepared. The house is well furnished and has everything for everyday use. The location is wonderful. Outside there was a snowstorm and we sat in the house and looked out the window. Lene was always available to us. Overall, everything is very good and definitely more than recommended.

The hosts are having very helpful, warm and welcoming manners, it is a happy to be there place.

Renate is a very kind and helpful host. She provided great instructions to the cabin and other advice as we asked. The place is charming. Besides the living room the other spaces are small but well thought out and you have all the necessities. For me these were the most comfortable sheets I have had in Norway. We listened to music, cooked a delicious diner and even had some Northern lights. The stairs to the extra bed are not comfortable and can hurt your feet - it is best to climb them with shoes. If you have a sleeper upstairs think to close all the curtains in the living room - we had day light as early as 3 am and this was disruptive for the person upstairs. Otherwise it is perfect and the view is gorgeous. No other neighbors: just you and the lake (and Renate’s house nearby but not obstructing your view).

Peaceful place, beautiful surroundings, perfect place for a dopamine detox. Tor Even helped us with his snowmobile to get in his cottage. There was a lot of snow and even a snow storm next day. Be mindful, it might be difficult to get up and down to the parking lot without a snowmobile. Don't bring a suitcase, use a backpack instead.

Very pleasant stay, accommodation met our expectations and we can only recommend this place. We were also lucky to be able to go to the North Cape in bright sunshine. The two days following the road to get there were closed. Beautiful walks in the city and we were able to climb to the mountain behind despite the snow.

Recently renovated apartment, beautiful and comfortable spaces, I recommend it to those who should stop to visit the North Cape, the owners available for every need!

Comfy and cosy place.

I arrived by cruise ship and Jakup and Nina’s place is a couple of bus stops away from the harbour. You can also choose to walk about 17 minutes there. Their place is right by the sea where you can see sea gulls and other sea birds catching fish, and it is also just a 12-15 minute walk to the town centre. The view from the house is beautiful, and I managed to see the northern lights from there. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. As public transport to and from Honningsvåg airport is quite inconvenient (there are only 1 or 2 taxis on the island, they’re difficult to get, and the nearest bus stop from the airport is about 4km from the airport), Nina very kindly offered to take me to the airport.
