Villa vacation rentals in Kalamaki Beach

We were eight women who spent a week at Villa Rodea. Had an amazing time, the view is wonderful and we had an uncomplicated care by the Komos team. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Kitsa’s place. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with Kitsa was excellent – she was always helpful, quick to respond, and made sure we had everything we needed while also being very respectful of our privacy, which we truly appreciated. We felt completely at ease throughout our time there and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

This Airbnb is beautiful from top to the tip of the pool. Maria and Savas were excellent hosts, so proactive about suggesting great things to do and find on Crete - which as a larger Greek island has so much to offer. The attention to detail and artistry in the house was to such a standard we took pictures to use as ideas on how to decorate our future home. If you get to stay here, you are lucky!

We have so many wonderful memories of staying at Giorgos's villa. The position was perfect for us. The pool is a good size for swimming, the BBQ space is beautiful, the beds are comfy, and the size/feel of the property is excellent. Ultimately the villa is a tasteful fusion of authentic Greek design - meets modern design. And, Rethinmo is the jewel of Greece. It's old-town, nightlife and food are unsurpassable, Raki Ba Raki 1600 is now our favourite restaurant having eaten there three times during our stay. Great villa perched up on a hillside, with stunning sea view. You definitely need a hire car as nothing much within walking distance but this was clear when we booked. Three lovely bedrooms, 2 en-suite. The outdoor kitchen is a really good feature. Friendly host who was flexible with check in and out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great stay at quiet villa I a quiet village (just us, the goats, chickens and cockrels and occasional horse) with fantastic views of the mountains. Good supply of kitchen equipment. We were very grateful for the wine, cake, fruit water and cheese on arrival. Although we did not organise any extracurricular activities with them, the managing company was proactive and responsive, polite and helpful. A car is a must to get around the island easily at your own pace and timetable. We visited beaches, caves, monestries and botanical gardens and ate at lovely restaurants as well as cooking at the Villa. If you like outdoor cooking and are a larger group (we were just two) there is a spacious outdoor kitchen including grill, and pizza/bread oven and sink all under a shading Olive tree at the back if the vila. Fully recommend a stay at the Villa and in Crete

Our best experience at AirBnB so far. We spent 8 days in October at this really great place and absolutely enjoyed it. Location is exceptional. You can look at the small village of Sivas with a great selection of tavernas, in the background the mountains and the sea. The place was absolutely fantastic. New appliances, everything clean, enough towels and bath towels, great layout and perfect for us as a small family with one child. As a welcome, there was a basket of local food and drinks in the fridge. In the area there are a few very nice villages to visit and two beautiful beaches are also very easy to reach. The communication with Artemisia was simply perfect. All requests were responded to immediately. There were recommendations for the area and they even organized a crib and a baby towel for free for us. Don't be surprised by the few reviews, the place is 3 months old.

Absolutely stunning place. Sparkling clean, very well equipped, beautiful views, short distance to sites, beaches etc. Simply an amazing experience. All you need for a luxurious holiday in the best wine region in Greece!

Wonderfully relaxing family holiday spent at Georgio’s place. We had a warm welcome and send off and George was always available when we needed him, at the same time also very respectful of our privacy. Local restaurants served good traditional food. The port was accessible by bus service and about €15 for taxi to Rethymno Port, although in my opinion should be considered if you are staying with young children or elderly, and so would consider hire car if you wish to explore local area. The villa’s pool was very clean and welcoming in the hot sun, and we all enjoyed the sweet and savoury treats that were baked and left for us during our stay, amazing! Overall we had a fantastic break and highly recommend a stay in Villa Rogdia.

Fantastic villa with beautiful pool and view. Downstairs at the sea you can watch nice snorkeling and fishing thanks to the super clear water. We and our kids enjoyed it. First village is 30 minutes drive so provide plenty of groceries.

Wonderful stay if you are looking for an amazing and well equiped house in the countryside!

The owners were great always on hand and responded very quickly - they arranged car hire and food delivery for our arrival. Would highly recommend this property especially if you like it private - it’s a great location to travel around due to close proximity to main roads to explore along the coast or go down to the south of the island. Would recommend you hire a vehicle, there is a Lidl 5 mins away and the main town is just around 10 mins. This would be ideal for family with older children as there is a great pool and plenty of activities ie pool table / table tennis table. The property was extremely clean with plenty of towels and lovely basket with some fruit / wine on arrival - great hosts and property….

This was our second stay at Villa Sunrise in the past 3 years. Maria and Stratos we once again a great help. The service they provide is excellent. They truly set a high benchmark. Highly recommended.

Amazing place and hosts! Dinos and Cleance were really helpfull with the arrival and the place is incredible. The surroundings are beautiful, the swimming pool and facilities great, and the house clean and with all that we needed. They also had some amazing details with my friends and I, making our stay really fun and letting us know more about Crete and Greece people. 100% recommended

We loved our 1 week stay at Sunset Villa! The location is perfect. Private with amazing views, but still close enough to restaurants and shops. Rethymno is a short drive away. The villa was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is particularly special with a large pool, nice seating areas, and great views from the roof terrace. Ibrahim and Karima were great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Ibrahim was in regular contact with us after booking and waited up late for our arrival at the villa. He even provided eggs, milk, butter, bread, and fruit for us which was such a nice surprise! We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Crete.

Really magical place. Just a stone's throw from the village center. The place was comfy, well thought out, clean, the views were amazing and Monica was very kind and flexible. I would absolutely recommend this place :)

Lovely place to stay, we loved it!!! Anastasia was quick to respond and very friendly. I would stay here again on my next visit. make sure you eat at the tavern at the end of the street if staying, great food and drinks!

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Theodoros is a very good host, always very friendly and always available. He sent us some restaurants and shopping opportunities right after our arrival. Our check-in and check-out was flexible and could be adjusted to our flight times by arrangement. All in all, we felt very welcome and well taken care of from day 1! I can recommend Theodoros' villa to anyone who wants to have a nice vacation in Crete without hesitation!

Lovely vila in a quiet area. We had a wonderfull week at the vila in October and enjoyed the vila and pool as a familly. The vila is new and very nice with a good view. Host is so friendly and responsive with any queetions or problems. We would go back:-)

Villa Canyon 2 is impeccable. Nothing to say about it. Beautiful,clean, comfortable, definitely strong point outside with the pool where you can relax. It is on a very quiet hill, 5-10 minutes by car from the center, the road to reach it perhaps slightly uncomfortable because uphill and narrow,but on the other hand you can enjoy the surrounding environment of great tranquility. Self check-in, we were greeted with fruit and a plumcake. If you want to be picky, I only report the absence of shampoo and body wash. In general, however, very positive experience, I would definitely go back to Villa Canyon2.
