It was an amazingly stay with at the apartment by Virginie & Wim. From check in till check out, they were responsive and provided clear information. They also proactively reached out about sightings of the auroras and how to spot them! We managed to catch a view of it from the apartment window thanks to their guidance and tips! They also shared food recommendations that were great. Their apartment is located near the bus pick up point and is extremely convenient. Amenities are all as described and everything matched what was described in the listing. We are extremely grateful as they were also kind enough to allow us a late checkout as we our bus was a bit later in the afternoon. Overall, a wonderful stay and would stay with them again if I have the chance!

Nilla’s villa is absolutely stunning! We really enjoyed our time there. It exactly what you want for a Lapland getaway: cozy, next to nature, and great amenities! Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Maria's accommodation. The house is cozy and well-equipped, with a sauna and fireplace that made it very comfortable. The location is ideal – close to Saariselkä's center, with cross-country ski tracks right behind the house. A highlight was Maria’s recommendation to visit Ilonka Farm & Café. The husky walk through the forest and relaxing in a cozy Lappish hut by the fire created an unforgettable experience. The care for the animals and the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere made it truly special. We also rented snowmobiles, which added an adventurous touch to our stay. Communication with Maria was excellent; she always responded quickly and provided clear instructions. A fantastic accommodation with thoughtful recommendations – we highly recommend it and hope to return soon! 💕🐾

The hut is beautifully situated in the forest and has its own quirks. When we arrived, the hut had cooled down to 14° and was only habitable with warm clothes. (outside temp. -30°) After we had set all the heaters to maximum and bought firewood the next day, we were able to heat the hut up to room temperature. After that, everything was satisfactory. The surroundings are beautiful in winter and the hut has sufficient equipment in the kitchen, albeit somewhat outdated. The sauna was great and we were even able to use the barbecue hut in winter. What we didn't realise from the photos was that the 2 bedrooms are not completely separate. The 2nd bedroom can only be reached by going through the 1st bedroom.

A picturesque cabin in the snowy woods with tons of snow accessories and a nice warm fire to keep you cosy inside. It was a perfectly rustic and charming getaway with everything you need provided. The kids loved playing in the snow outside and with no other cabins on top of us they had all the untouched snow they could want! Marjo was very responsive and even saved the day at the end of our stay, helping us get out after a snow storm meant our car was stuck. The village and shops were a short drive away. A perfect location.

Very helpful host. Guided all possible things to be taken tare or to know before we reach there. The cottage is located located bit far from city locality, so a perfect place if you are looking for a calm peaceful vacation. Just a 100/200 meters walk - and you could stand beside the lake. Or take a walk in the trails of woods. Look through the windows - eyes will go beyond the horizon. Serenity is all around the place. Talking about the cottage, its supper equipped with almost everything that one could need to enjoy the stay. Specially the kitchen - you find every single thing for your cooking need. Loved it! Living rooms and bedrooms were very clean and tidy. Comfortable living room furnitures to relax with family or friends with a cup of coffee or even with drinks. Mobile network connectivity was excellent. Special thing to mention about the cottage location from our opinion is about northern lights. The cottage is situated probably best to enjoy northern light during the winter.
