Lovely, spacious designer home right by the sea. Someone has invested significant coin into this house at some point - you can almost control each light fitting independently if you have the patience!! Great new kayaks to use (with life jackets) and a well equipped kitchen, with two (or even three) fridges available!

Beautiful and peaceful spot! Private guest suite with great amenities. Location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Abel Tasman and the Coast Track. Brenda provided great recommendations for how to enjoy the area and was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

The Mārahau bach is beautifully situated with an outlook across the estuary and a side view to the ocean. Huge decks enhance this. The house is older but well equipped. We stayed early autumn and it was warm and dry. Easy to walk to local cafes and restaurants, as well as accessible walks and other local attractions.

We stayed here on the way to the Heaphy Track. A great place to stay if you’re a large group needing somewhere to rest and recharge. The beach is very close and so is Takaka and other cafes. The batch was very clean and tidy, the beds were super comfortable and we loved the view from the lounge. The two bathrooms were great. The road is behind the batch so there is a little bit of road noise, and the neighbouring batches were closer than we expected from the pictures. The host was amazing, responsive, flexible and helpful, especially as I left a box behind and came and collected a few days later.

True paradise! What an amazing view and at the same time so close to the beach! Beds are super comfortable and a Lauren was always available for any questions. We’ll surely come back.

Beautiful tranquil spot, bonus of being pet friendly with the ability to secure the dog on the balcony, he loved swimming off the beach.

We haven’t been to Nelson for possibly 30 years - this will be our go to place now for Nelson-and we are very keen to come back now after staying here. Thank you for a wonderful stay- also the security, views, sunsets,and excellent introduction to the place with Rob was exceptional.

Great 1950s style beach bach. Stunning location. The perfect place for a winter or summer family holiday. Loved the spacious living areas indoors and outdoors - it easily accommodated youngsters playing, to parents and grandparents relaxing, altogether. Lots of games and books for all ages. We loved using the kayaks on the inlet.

Great apartment. Very clean and lovely interior and bathrooms. Big balcony overlooking the park. Beach on the other side of the park. Great cafe and bar/restaurant just a few hundred metres along the road. Coffee stand beside the apartment complex. Jack was always responsive and flexible with times. Would definitely stay again.

Kay’s place was incredible! The space, the views, the pool! Our family loved the paddling and wildlife as well (sting rays, birds, bioluminescence, glow worms). It was well worth the drive to get there (which was unique in its own right).

Sally and Wayne were fantastic hosts. After a long travel day, we enjoyed having a glass of wine with them on their deck when we arrived. Their home and views of the water were truly lovely, and the stargazing on a clear night from the hot tub was hard to beat. Their location is perfect for a short walk along the water to the Mapua Wharf for dinner. We really appreciated Sally making us an early breakfast before we headed to Abel Tasman. Our only regret was not booking a second night with Sally and Wayne!

Beautiful sunsets. Much of Nelson is set on the hillside and this gives stunning view of sandbar and beach.

We can’t speak highly enough of Endeavour holiday home . We had 4 couples staying there and it was superb . The house is clean , modern and has everything you need . The view is unequalled and the hosts are fantastic to deal with . 5 stars isn’t really a high enough rating . 10 out of 10 . A beautiful home to share with friends. The fire was fabulous, the trampoline was a dream for the kids. A lovely overnight stay.

Lovely home in a beautiful quiet part of Golden bay. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, along with the bedding. We have two young kids so prefer to cook our meals instead of going out and it was an amazingly stocked kitchen! Decent pots and pans with everything you could need to cook. We enjoyed the surrounding beaches, kayaking and ample walks (Wanui falls is beautiful). This home was a perfect base for our trip. Thank you Nicola and family!

Such a lovely little oasis with a private fenced yard and garden perfect for our family of four with two very young kiddos. The house is the perfect size very comfortable and cozy, we felt right at home. Kim was very accommodating and gave us a lot of thoughtful kid toys and supplies to use during our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

Very Beautiful place with wonderful scenery and kayak experience was outstanding . We really enjoyed the stay and moments.Only suggestion I would do is, when you charge $105 for cleaning fee, you should not put request to remove rubbish.

Great place to stay for a family of seven gathering… there was everything we needed and a lovely sized sunny private garden. Just a short walk from Mapua wharf and also a great bakery. Lots to do in the area and a nice place to be centred. Thanks Jane, we had a really wonderful stay.
