Beatrice was very friendly and helpful! She was very welcoming and cheerful. Her place was very clean. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Little coffee corner for an afternoon tea. Beautiful night sky, we sat outside to stargaze! Very hearty morning breakfast prepared by Beatrice. Yummy bread/pastries and jam made by her. Really heart-warming stay!! Will definitely come back again!! Thank you Beatrice!!!

This is an excellent historic cottage immaculately presented. The hosts are excellent to deal with. Going the extra mile to ensure the experience is optimal.

This was an awesome place to stay for Nelson Clay Week. It's a very short drive to downtown, has a great view, and is across the street from a lovely restaurant. It's a short walk to the beach. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is well-provisioned. It is located on a busy, main street so there is some commercial traffic. I'd be happy to return.

We had a lovely time in Ruth's accommodation. It was very peaceful, clean and the views were amazing. Ruth was very helpful with local recommendations and always responsive. Will definitely stay here again

Had a great time at Caroline's place. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, well equipped and in a great location. It's the best place we've stayed at and Caroline was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it.

Such a cosy accommodation, clean, well designed and with all the little details that make you feel at home (home baked bread, eggs, complimentary wine, house manual very clear and full of advices…). Stressfree and relaxing !

We will never have enough words to describe just how wonderful our time at Valerie and Ewan’s garden apartment was. We fell in love with it, and with our hosts, the moment we drove in. Valerie and Ewan welcomed us with fresh flowers from the garden, homemade goodies, fresh fruit, and a fridge full of essentials and treats. They are the kindest and most caring people, and so incredibly generous with their beautiful garden, their time, and their local knowledge! The grounds surrounding the house are lovingly tended and absolutely incredible- we spent every meal and many hours outside among the flowers and birds. Wakefield is a lovely village, with so many walks, hikes, and beaches within short drive, as well as a grocery, pharmacy and excellent bakery. We had new adventures every single day, and our stay here was hands down the best holiday we’ve ever had! Thank you so much, Valerie and Ewan!

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

A perfect little self-contained apartment for our 4 nights stay in the Motueka Valley area. Best shower throughout our 3 weeks on the South Island, great stacked fridge and the pool big enough to swim a bit. Zoe and Jack went through lengths to make our stay a memorable one - including organizing a spontaneous water taxi ride and help with the laundry. Privacy was given all the time! We would come back!

If it exists, this belongs in the Airbnb Hall of Fame. Sharron and Ross gave our family a once in a lifetime Christmas. Everything you could imagine was provided (fresh bread, farm fresh eggs, baked goods) and if we ever needed anything - we received tenfold. Beyond the generosity - the place was as advertised. Peaceful, beautiful views and clean as a whistle. It was so hard to leave! I envy any and all future travelers that find their way here and dearly hope to make it back one day.

Kirsty’s place has exceeded our expectations and one of the most outstanding accomodations we’ve been in compare to all places we’ve rented at AirB&B. We will surely put her place at the top of our list when we comeback to visit Nelson.

Mike and Lorraine are wonderful hosts. Greeted and shown around the place. It was so clean and we had everything we could possible need, including some basic food items to start us off. Great location and very cozy and comfortable place to stay.

Ray and Jules were wonderful hosts. Our suite was perfect, full of character, art, books and thoughtful touches. The breakfast was fantastic and the location is absolutely perfect. Would absolutely recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Gables. The setting was so incredibly peaceful and their home is gorgeous. They were full of local tips and went above and beyond to accommodate us. 10/10!!

What a fabulous stay! it was just for one night but Val and Wayne were so welcoming I instantly felt right at home. You couldn't wish to meet nicer people and to top it off they made homemade bread and gave me some grapefruits from their tree, which were delicious!

We stayed 4 nights at Julies Airbnb. It was one of our best accomondation so far! Julie and her husband are great hosts! We recived golden hints and were pampered during our stay. We felt very comfy. Very highly recommended! For us it is no question: if we return to Motueka another time there is no other place to stay.

Sally and Wayne were fantastic hosts. After a long travel day, we enjoyed having a glass of wine with them on their deck when we arrived. Their home and views of the water were truly lovely, and the stargazing on a clear night from the hot tub was hard to beat. Their location is perfect for a short walk along the water to the Mapua Wharf for dinner. We really appreciated Sally making us an early breakfast before we headed to Abel Tasman. Our only regret was not booking a second night with Sally and Wayne!

what a lovely lady Rosemary is. we were delayed 4 hours on the ferry and she waited up for us offering refreshments. the bnb has a beautiful garden, luxury linen, fabulous shower and amenities. with an amazing breakfast thrown in taking in awesome views there is nothing not to love about this venue. thank you Rosemary for making us so welcome at your home x
