Houseboat vacation rentals in Jura Mountains

Perfect for shutting down!! The "cabins" are all individually in the forest as a tree house or swimming on the water. The place is simple but in high quality construction. In our cabin on the lake we had a Scandinavian SPA (warm water, perfect for colder seasons) overlooking the lake - fantastic! Breakfast is brought to the cabin in a basket in the morning and serves its purpose perfectly. For showering, you go to the main building, where large modern shower cabins are waiting. We were able to complete our trip with a walk around the lake and a small boat trip (good possibility for a picnic on the water). The staff is super suited and extremely helpful!

Urs is an incredibly gracious, likeable and helpful host. When we arrived at his place with the last drop of gas, he immediately helped us get fuel. The houseboat is located in fantastic and quiet surroundings near a lock on the canal de bourgogne - also very suitable for dog walks from the boat (where you can watch beavers and herons). The houseboat is cozy and tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. It is a good starting point for trips to the very worth seeing area. Urs provided us with good tips - we especially liked Dijon and the Abbey of Fontenay. Also great was the use of the wood-fired hot tub with canal views. Thank you very much, dear Urs!

We stayed at this unique place over Pentecost. It is very private and was even far better than the photos show. Very modern and extremely clean. The bikes on site were really great and it has very nice paths on the canal. Urs's breakfast right on the lock was another highlight. Everything you need is there and the excursions in the area were very nice. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful night in the captain's cabin with his private terrace. The hosts are very accommodating and the cabin is superb. We will come back without hesitation 😊

We thought the houseboat was fantastic. The spaces are small, but the whole thing is very charming. Within walking distance are supermarket, bakery and various restaurants. We found the area with the canal, the old and the pleasure port very nice. We did not use the jacuzzi. Definitely recommended for short stays. The welcome package made us feel right at home

When we live the photos we thought the idea of sleeping in a house-boat would excite girls, and so it was. Everything was well prepared for our arrival. Her husband greeted us with great enthusiasm and was very kind. A pleasant stay. By the way, the magdalenas were delicious 🙂
