Wadi Feynan and Gregra are really hot in the summer, and as a geologist this is a tough place to do field work. Mohammed's place was perfect for us to escape the heat and have a air-conditioned room. Also, Mohammed's English is excellent, which really helped when we had truck troubles. The accommodation is modest, three single beds in a room and a bathroom, and there are no electrical outlets besides the one for the air conditioner. But, the place was clean, and was a perfect escape from the heat. Moreover, Mohammed is a great host and willing to help with anything you need.
A living room features elegant seating with plush, neutrally colored upholstery surrounding a decorative coffee table. An antique display cabinet is positioned against a wall, showcasing glass items. A painting adorns one wall, while a potted plant adds a touch of greenery to the space.

Your home in Petra

Layla was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions or problems. The house is ideal for a group of friends with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces inside and outside. Layla's breakfast was lovely and substantial and was varied every day of our three day stay. Layla also cooked us a meal on the day we arrived which was very welcome after a long day travelling. The location is just by the rear entrance to Petra. This means you either need your own transport or use taxis to get to the main entrance (which you must do on your first day visiting Petra to get your ticket - even if you have a Jordan Pass) or to get to restaurants. Entering Petra by the rear entrance on subsequent days is very convenient, however leaving that way does require a long climb.
The exterior of a three-story villa is displayed at dusk, featuring warm exterior lights that illuminate a spacious patio area. The building is complemented by a paved walkway and a seating area overlooking the tranquil sea, creating an inviting outdoor space.

Jehan was an excellent host. He took my booking on short notice. This was my second time in the community and it is very quiet and away from the city.
An outdoor seating area is featured, with dark wicker furniture arranged around low tables. Tall palm trees rise beside the space, and the chalet's modern structure is illuminated by warm lighting. The serene atmosphere is enhanced by the surrounding greenery.

Evergreen Chalet, Zay, Jordan.

This is a beautiful property, situated on a gentle hillside with a view of the surrounding area. The property is full of fruit trees and flowers and is well maintained. We stayed here in January, so it was too cold to use the pool, but we still really enjoyed the spacious outside patio areas. Our four children had a delightful time riding bikes and roller blading, and the grill area worked very well. The inside of the house is spacious as well and was relatively clean. Everything there was mostly as advertised. Be aware that there were no towels, soap, tissues, or toilet paper, so you will need to bring those things yourself. Also there weren't a lot of kitchen utensils, and what we found mostly needed to be washed before we used them. The owner was very responsive, and there is a caretaker at the property who was also very helpful. We had an enjoyable stay.
A group of six individuals is seated outdoors on a stone ledge surrounded by greenery. The backdrop consists of trees and an olive grove, creating a natural atmosphere. The diverse clothing styles reflect a blend of cultural influences, contributing to the community feel.
