Waterfront vacation rentals in Jonesport

I enjoyed a recent 2 night stay at Naomi’s place, and there was much to love about it! While it was definitely a hike to and from Bar Harbor, returning back to the privacy & peacefulness of this property in the evening made it absolutely worth while. Above all we greatly appreciated how clean the unit was upon arrival. The beautiful sunset views and access to kayaks to enjoy the pond were a major plus. The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for, and we’d definitely stay with Naomi again next time we visit the area!

A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

Melissa was a wonderful host. Her place is clean and well stocked with useful and thoughtful items. Melissa was very helpful with local recommendations and reached out to help us troubleshoot dinner options when the power in town went out. Would definitely stay here again. Five stars all around!

Joann's, place is one of the best places on the island, clean, quiet and peaceful, we'll put together she put a lot thought in Making you feel comfortable. Lots of instructions and go beyond leaving little things in the unit given that there's not a lot ooptions on the island...LOVE THE SPOT.

Wonderful apartment. We intended to spend most of our time outdoors, but the weather forced us to stay in and the place was warm, cozy, and a beautiful spot to watch a snowstorm! The kitchen was open and had all the things we needed to make dinners. Beds were comfy. The view of the harbor was a delight to see over a morning cup of coffee!

I stayed at Pam's place for a month while my house is being built. Very warm and comfortable. Easy access to Ellsworth (5 minutes). Very close to MDI and Acadia. I would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

When me and my crew work out of town it’s always hard to find a place we like that feels like home for the weeks we are working. And at Collin’s house it was the perfect place to come to after a longs day work. Very spacious and roomy

Keith's place is a gem and we will keep coming back. He is a great host and the place is a divine old family home that sits on the water in SW Harbor. We love the area and SW harbor always delivers for the quietside of MDI.

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!

Dora and Daniel's home was the perfect location for our first trip to the area. We were grateful not to be in the middle of the mayhem of Bar Harbor but close to Acadia National Park - our purpose for being there. It was the perfect space for two couples who appreciated having our own space. The large kitchen, two living rooms, deck and large sized bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and often sunny! It was quiet at night - occasionally we'd hear a boat go out in the middle of the night. We used the fire pit one day (purchased 3 bundles of wood) as we watched the tide come in and go out. The approach to this property (a blue barrel that says "no trespassing") and the dilapidated structure to the right of the property along the shoreline was a little unnerving but it grew on us after a few days. The view of the harbor if we looked straight ahead was beautiful. We also enjoyed Beal's Lobster Pier twice; a short walk from the house.

We loved the beautiful views from almost every window! The house was roomy and clean and worked well for 6. The yard was large, but had goose droppings on it. There was a beautiful town beach called Sandy River Beach a 5 minute drive down the road! And Robert had sand toys and chairs at the house. The property has a practically private beach down a stair/walkway and I loved going to it, but it had sea worn glass on it, so not so good for swimming. My kids still jumped in during high tide. (The glass is mostly at the low tide level.)

Truly a spotless & comfortable "Home Away from Home" in a serene setting. The listing didn't do this charming home justice. Very comfortable beds, great shower, and picture perfect Mainesetting. Perfect escape from beautiful but busy Bar Harbor. Host was very responsive and the home is well equipped. Recommend J.M. Gerrish in nearby Winter Harbor for breakfast. Would stay again!

My sisters and I stayed here for a few days for our annual winter sister’s trip and had such a lovely and relaxing time! Michelle and Dan’s home is super cozy and comforting - a wonderful place to stay in winter and I’m sure it’s even more exceptional in the warmer months. The sunset from the deck is breathtaking and the view of the stars at night is mesmerizing!! For anyone looking for a fun hike, the Frank E Woodworth preserve is gorgeous! The trail is not maintained in the winter but is well marked. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay here and highly recommend anyone looking for a trip to coastal Maine stay in this lovely home. You’ll have everything you need and more !

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.

Great and convenient, matched description, easy to access and check in and out. Responsive and helpful host.

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.
