Vacation rentals in Jones County

We are very thankful to have stayed at Doug's place. We found the place with ease, it was clean and very spacious. The place had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The yard was beautiful and very peaceful. It felt quiet and private! We had our children with us and Doug never complained of the kids being too loud, in fact he said he loved hearing their playful voices. Doug and his wife were very accommodating and always very quick to respond. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend it if you are staying in Macon.

This sweet 1940's home features some of my favorite things: the most comfortable hard mattress with full size body pillows, soft yummy-smelling sheets, tons of cozy blankets + coffee options to wake up to in the morning! Since this property was just renovated & is a new listing, everything is fresh and clean. Yay! I was excited to test out the new appliances and fully stocked kitchen. The hardwood floors are gorgeous. Light comes in the house from all directions b/c of so many windows. I loved that I could run the neighborhood in the morning and walk to Society Garden to meet friends at night. It was such a treat to do my laundry, while on vacation w/ their brand new washer/dryer. April is incredibly generous and responsive and obviously wants her guests to be comfortable. I highly recommend Blue Sky Bungalow!

The place is very nice, exactly what they said. I did not read the part where you would have to walk past the owners house to get to the outdoor amenities. I personally was not crazy about having to walk by the owners house to the dock, fire pit, and hot tub. But the place was very pretty.

I'm in Macon often but this was my first time securing an Air BNB due to traveling with my boxing team. The location was great and a beautiful scene away from the city. Polly was a great host that responded almost instantly to the only time I had to contact her. When I'm back in Macon, I'm definitely booking here again.

3 generations of our family spent a long weekend here and there was fun for all ages. The pictures don’t do this gorgeous house justice! The kids had a blast in the basement. The adults enjoyed the beautiful porches. The seating and beds were very comfortable- even the sofa beds were nice average with memory foam mattresses. Easy in and out of the water for grandma with sturdy steps and a handrail. The only 2 things anyone complained about were the large amount of vegetation in the access area of the water, and the ants were plentiful- but that’s the chance you take at the lake. They did provide ant spray so that was helpful! The dock had plenty of space for fishing and my nephew caught a huge 12 pound catfish. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Most enjoyable stay, more than sufficient room to spread out enjoy the wonderful home. Beautiful kitchen, well stocked and loved all the wonderful appliances, especially the ice maker, a first for me in an Airbnb rental. The time went by quickly and we very much enjoyed our stay. Hands down, the best AirBnB stay I've ever had. Suzanne was friendly, responsive, and flexible. Her place takes dog friendly to the next level, all the way down to dog toys, water bowl, and poop bags. And the home is to die for. The lake, the kayaks, the sunsets, the massive master retreat, the games, the massive TVs - It was all incredible. We were there evacuating a hurricane in our hometown, so our circumstances were less than ideal. However, this home was so amazing that we actually felt like we were on vacation in spite of the worry. We will definitely be back again under better circumstances.

Beautiful house on the lake! Great views and access to water. Really enjoyed our stay. The owners/property management team truly paid attention to every detail.
