I can see why Marianne is a super host! Her place is exactly how she describes but cozier. She had everything we needed to feel right at home and even stocked the kitchen with some thoughtful items like milk, oj and cereal. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected and even had an extra half bath which was very convenient. There were plenty of comfortable places to sit and lots of space to unpack. We love the location because it was as easy to get to Newport as it was to Portsmouth. There's a well renowned French bakery about a quarter of a mile away and the local’s favorite coffee shop is less than half a mile away. The apartment felt very private but Marianne was always available if we had a question. Best of both worlds!

this apartment is absolutely comfortable, spotless and very nice. located in a wonderful spot within walking distance to everything! feel comfortable renting this apartment because it is worth every penny. you will be very happy here. Take advantage of relaxing on the deck it's a great place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing. we will definitely be back.

Kelly was a great host and very communicative! The apartment was very well-located and walkable to Thayer Street and Wayland Square. It was just as described and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location in the middle of the Newport action. Very easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, water also a little tucked away from foot traffic so you can have a peaceful night sleep. A good value for the price and very easy stay. I would love to stay again. Thank you!

Recently Renovated 2 Bed 1 Bath Apartment

I was originally sad that I didn't book somewhere on Thames Street, but this was a last-minute decision and everything on Thames was booked. After checking into Matthew's place, I was immediately converted. The "Broadway" section of Newport has so much more to offer than the tourist-battered Thames Street! Nitro (coffee) Bar, Newport Tokyo House, Caleb and Broad, Fastnet Pub, Tavern on Broadway, Bar Cino, Pour Judgement... All excellent places to eat and drink and all within walking distance from 86 Doctor Marcus Wheatland Boulevard! Besides all this, Matt's unit was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The bathroom was spa-like and the beds were all comfortable. We didn't do any cooking, but one could easily save a ton of money and cook at home. The fridge even had an ice maker! Each morning, we did take advantage of the "coffee bar", which included k-cups, various sweeteners and mini-creamers. Thank you, Matthew, for allowing us to stay in your lovely unit!

We enjoyed staying at Steven’s place. It was conveniently located within a 30 minute walk (~1 mile) to Womens & Infants Hospital where our grandson was just born. The apartment was spacious, clean and more than met our expectations. Steven was quick to respond to our questions and very willing to accommodate our needs. We would definitely return again if/when we need a place to stay in Providence.

Great apartment in the heart of Newport! The apartment was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. Perfect size for a group of 2-3. As stated in the listing, there is one bedroom with a bed and one pull out couch. I stayed with my group of 3 and this arrangement was perfect for us. Cohost Deb was very responsive and answered all questions/communicated with me before, during and after the stay. There were plenty of linens, towels, and other essentials. There are many restaurants, bars, convenient stores and entertainment walking distance from the apartment. I would highly recommend staying here, we had no issues and were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. Side note: this apartment is on the 2nd floor, there is a bar next door on the first floor and it can get nosey, if this is an issue for you I would suggest noise canceling headphones or ear plugs - the louder night of the week for us was Saturday.

Tyler's place was very nice and in the perfect location! We were able to walk everywhere we needed, and wanted, to go! The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The parking spot was taken several times, but we made do and moved the car back, once the spot was open (it was not very far from the apartment and we were happy to have a free space to park our car). We had a great time in Newport, and would love to stay in the apartment above the Pasta Beach restaurant, again. It was a great experience overall (and the food at Pasta Beach was delicious!). Thank you, Tyler, for helping to make our anniversary get-away memorable! We loved your beautiful accommodations!

Thanks for a nice stay in Newport and the welcome basket! We enjoyed being nxt to the ballpark and in the heart of town! Gooseberry beach was perfect. The Cliff walk and the Breakers did not disappoint. We took a sail around the harbor and it was so relaxing. The apartment was clean, the beds very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked for cooking and the bathroom had an updated shower with good water pressure. Loved the parking space! Thank u for the quietest AC’s in the world! The apartment had everything you could ask for a great stay to explore Newport, Block Island with the Ferry down the street and the town of Wakefield before and after the drive! The four of us would highly recommend. Thanks for a great vacation!

I was immediately impressed with how cozy the apartment is. My first thought was “I could live here”. Jim has so thoughtfully renovated the place providing modern convenience in a charming way consistent with the house’s history. My stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Can’t think of anything missing. Jim was very friendly and accommodating. I’d be happy to stay there again.

My television show came to Newport to film for three weeks and I was fortunate to find one of David’s properties available right in the heart of town. The location was perfect for me to commute to the nearby mansions on my bicycle. Other houses on the block are from the early 1700’s which was super cool. It’s also only a couple blocks to the Main Street and the wharfs as well. David was a fantastic host. I would definitely recommend his properties for friends to stay at.

Aref’s listing is absolutely spot on in terms of location, convenience and comfort! It’s well located within Federal Hill, where several restaurants and cafes are just a stone’s throw away. We were able to walk easily to downtown & Brown University without needing to drive. That said, to find a city listing that provides free parking is a huge perk so we were very appreciative. The apartment itself was incredibly cute and cozy, and it naturally felt like home. Aref was very communicative and stays on top of things, which was comforting to know he’s always within reach. Overall my family had a wonderful vacation and would love to book this apartment again if we ever visit Providence again!

To be honest this my best every apartment i had in all journeys it was rally private and clean and large you will gind everything there you dont need to buy anything everything is there and when ever u need whitney u will find here she is so kind as we did some mistakes for the garbages and heaters portable but she was so kind she just explained she treated us verywell the apartment is really worthed you will enjoy it and its walkable to everywhere i really enjoyed it a lot just make sure you open the windows if your going to cook something really these word will not describe the lovely apartment we really enjoyed thanks whitney.

Great little place to stay right on main street. Super convenient parking and plenty of walkable restaurants in the area for coffee or dinner. The place was clean, cozy, had a comfortable bed and two smart TVs with fast wifi for streaming. Ian was easy to communicate with and offered flexible check in and check out times. Would stay again or recommend to anyone else staying in the area!

Greg was a great host and super responsive. There were guides on how to use anything that may have been tricky in the house which I found super helpful. Also recommendations on where to go in providence. Super thoughtful!

This Airbnb was an unexpected gem. The neighborhood is quiet and right near the bike path. Warren has some top notch restaurants within walking distance. The place itself was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bed linens were crisp, and there were ample towels. The amenities were just as described. There is a little private patio off of the kitchen and there is a bigger area next to it with a fire pit and picnic bench. The host was incredibly responsive, sometimes within minutes and very accommodating to all of our needs and questions.

My husband and I met up with another couple to see a show at the VET and this was the perfect space for our night. We were able to easily walk there and back and there were many options for dinner along the way. The space was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. For a quick stay with a planned activity, this is a great, private, clean option very close to Downtown Providence.

Beautiful home and a great neighborhood easy get to beaches and restaurants. You can easily tell tgw property very well maintained and every detail is well thought out. Pool towels to hangers, dish soap, etc etc. The host was incredibly sweet and an excellent communicator. She was always responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this property.

Lakisha’s space was just what I was looking for. Dog friendly, walkable neighborhood. She was helpful, and flexible with check-in time. Everything was as described. Hot tub took over an hour to fill, but i knew it would take a while from the description. It was a great stay! Would recommend.

Very happy with the place! Beautiful apartment, very clean. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. The apartment overlooks a beautiful hill and views of the water. Perfect spot for a morning coffee. The pool was very clean. Jenny & Ania were amazing hosts, very helpful and made everything more enjoyable.
