Vacation rentals with a kayak in Jackson County

We had an incredible stay and will gladly be back once the weather is warmer so we can truly enjoy the lake. The home was clean and cozy, the kitchen was so nice to be able to cook our own meals. The fire pit was a great addition on the chilly nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed playing the card games in the living room as a family. We would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Chattanooga!!!

Our group of friends came down from Indiana to spend a long weekend exploring the area's caves and trails and this place was PERFECT for us with plenty of places for everyone to sleep and socialize. The beds were very comfortable and the fire ring was perfect. Lake views and quiet surroundings were also lovely. Paula was a great communicator and provided us with recommendations on local restaurants, where to get firewood, and details about the home. We plan to come back again and hope to start a future tradition - camping outside this past weekend would have been quite cold and staying in such a nice place was great for group morale! Thank you so very much, Paula, for being an amazing host!

Such a terrific place to stay. The house was huge and we had plenty of room for our family. Such a comfortable home and we really enjoyed our stay. Hope to be back sometime to take advantage of the lake. We even bought some of the honey the owner has from the bees he cares for on the property and was delicious!

We stayed for a long weekend for our girls trip and had the best time. The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. The beds were so comfortable, and everything felt fresh and clean. Between the fireplace, Christmas tree, cozy furniture, hot tub, and pond, we couldn't have had a more relaxing time. Everything had clear instructions so we felt confident using the fireplace, hot tub, and appliances. A few nice touches: the toilet paper provided is so soft, the coffee maker has the option of making a pot or just a cup (and they provided filters), the house and linens felt and smelled clean without having any fragrances, and the list of checkout items/house rules were very reasonable and easy to accomplish. We would definitely recommend, and hope to stay here again.

We have family in the area and needed a place near Gurley AL to accommodate others. Our stay was great and provided everything we needed (although the weather could been better!).

Great getaway location, easy to find. The kayaks and canoe was a added bonus. Everything was clean, I liked the layout of the house. Caught a lot of fish out past the cove, we will definitely be back!

This lake house is amazing!! Beautiful, comfortable, perfect for our group of 5. We loved celebrating New Year’s and my son’s 21st birthday here. The cozy living room, hot tub, fire pit, and fishing right off the dock were highlights of the trip! Bonus that my son and step son each caught almost 3lb bass right off the dock!

Really enjoyed our stay at Lazy River Cottage! Home was clean and orderly and exactly as described with plenty of room for our party of 5. We don't eat out much and prefer to cook our meals at the home so the full kitchen was much appreciated. Making use of the kayaks was a ton of fun. DeSoto Falls hiking trails and picnic area were easily accessible by a very short walk. This was a great home base to explore Mentone and Little River Canyon. 100% would book it again. Bailey and David were extremely helpful and responsive when my husband and I were worried about not making the drive to our stay due to snow/icy road conditions. They were transparent, offered us other options in case we couldn't make it, and offered us additional amenities in case we did make it and the power was out. Their stay was absolutly beautiful! The floor to ceiling windows were perfect for viewing the river and snow covered greenery. The hot tub was perfect for star gazing and keeping warm in the snow! We had everything we needed for our snowed in stay. The location was just a five minute drive from the cutest town of Mentone! It was private and relaxing. We plan to go again amd bring the kids as there was more than enough room for just two of us! The hosts were amazing, stay was amazing, and location was amazing! Thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christmas with our family. The Cabin was awesome! It was very clean and cozy beautifully decorated and the Christmas decor and tree was perfect. The entire cabin was very well stocked with all the amenities you would need. Laura our host was very friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.

Lots of space for our family get together. Prime location to get to area attractions (Mentone, hiking, swimming spots). Well equipped kitchens in both cabins. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We particularly enjoyed the screened porches. There were kids games and puzzles for inside fun as well as paddle boards and floats for water fun.

We had such a great time this weekend. Debbie was great and so easy to communicate with. The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The view was gorgeous. The weather did not cooperate with us to be outside much, but we were all fine to just hang out with the each other for rest and family time. The reclining sofas were fabulous! We brought games, but found that was not necessary. Debbie’s place had plenty! We look forward to coming back here one day! Thank you Debbie!

This was a great deal for what we had and believe me, its was so cute and charming. I loved it had no TV. My husband and I just married in July, so this was our honeymoon. And it was perfect! We listened to albums on the record player by the fire, played board games and UNO and was just together. Thank you for being a part of new tradition for us. We are in our 50s, starting over, so this place will always be in our hearts 💕 PSA The steps going upstairs is pretty tricky, so beware of that, thats the only "negative " and drive way...
