Wonderful place to stay while visiting Chattanooga!!!

Our group of friends came down from Indiana to spend a long weekend exploring the area's caves and trails and this place was PERFECT for us with plenty of places for everyone to sleep and socialize. The beds were very comfortable and the fire ring was perfect. Lake views and quiet surroundings were also lovely. Paula was a great communicator and provided us with recommendations on local restaurants, where to get firewood, and details about the home. We plan to come back again and hope to start a future tradition - camping outside this past weekend would have been quite cold and staying in such a nice place was great for group morale! Thank you so very much, Paula, for being an amazing host!

What a beautiful home! It’s rare to find such a gem with both mountains and water to enjoy. Our onsite host, Mark, was a wonderful communicator and always responded quickly. The upstairs game area was a HUGE hit with our seven grandboys! The home itself is warm, comfortable, inviting, and just right for our family. We all agreed it will be a future family meeting site again in the future.

We stayed for a long weekend for our girls trip and had the best time. The house was clean and well stocked with necessities. The beds were so comfortable, and everything felt fresh and clean. Between the fireplace, Christmas tree, cozy furniture, hot tub, and pond, we couldn't have had a more relaxing time. Everything had clear instructions so we felt confident using the fireplace, hot tub, and appliances. A few nice touches: the toilet paper provided is so soft, the coffee maker has the option of making a pot or just a cup (and they provided filters), the house and linens felt and smelled clean without having any fragrances, and the list of checkout items/house rules were very reasonable and easy to accomplish. We would definitely recommend, and hope to stay here again.

The cabin was absolutely stunning. My friends and I were there for a relaxing weekend of golf and hanging out. This was absolutely perfect!!!

Great getaway location, easy to find. The kayaks and canoe was a added bonus. Everything was clean, I liked the layout of the house. Caught a lot of fish out past the cove, we will definitely be back!

We loved how we felt right at home and it was so cozy. My wife especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace at night while reading. Will book again for our next stay.

This lake front property was the perfect location for a weekend getaway with my girl friends. The screened in porch, overlooking the lake, was an absolute standout. The hosts were very responsive, and we would definitely return!

Really enjoyed our stay at Lazy River Cottage! Home was clean and orderly and exactly as described with plenty of room for our party of 5. We don't eat out much and prefer to cook our meals at the home so the full kitchen was much appreciated. Making use of the kayaks was a ton of fun. DeSoto Falls hiking trails and picnic area were easily accessible by a very short walk. This was a great home base to explore Mentone and Little River Canyon. 100% would book it again. Thanks so much for a great stay!

My spouse & I spent the most peaceful couple of days for Thanksgiving at Bailey's beautiful place! The design of this space is so incredible, with its giant windows that let in so much natural light during the day & allow you to see the stars at night. We had everything we needed to make lots of dishes for our Thanksgiving for two, & we enjoyed exploring the quaint little town of Mentone, thanks to Bailey's helpful guide book. The hot tub was an added bonus, as was the location on the water. Being able to unplug while we were there (since there is intentionally no TV) was so refreshing -- we enjoyed playing board games & spending lots of quality time together. We will absolutely be back for another relaxing few days at Bailey's place soon!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Laura was an amazing hostess and the cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make it a home for the long weekend with our friends.

Lots of space for our family get together. Prime location to get to area attractions (Mentone, hiking, swimming spots). Well equipped kitchens in both cabins. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We particularly enjoyed the screened porches. There were kids games and puzzles for inside fun as well as paddle boards and floats for water fun.

Great cozy getaway! The cozy queen bed was a favorite of both my wife and two pups, and being right in front of a gas space heater definitely helped during the cold weekend. And the description of the trails leading to DeSoto also accurate as described!

Celebrated my Mother’s Bday and it was EXACTLY what we needed . Great space and amazing Host! Thanks for EVERYTHING….

Cabin was cozy and everything we needed for a restful weekend. We hope to come back sometime!
