Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Jackman

We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! We have rented this house before, it does not disappoint. The description is accurate, very comfortable for 8 - 12 people. Kitchen has all the pots, pans, utensils and everything else you could need. We really like this house for snowmobile trips. Trail is across the street, plenty of parking, could not ask for more.

This was the second consecutive year we rented from Karen, like the first year the place was immaculate and set in such a serene area. The trails on site are always a favorite!

The house was comfortable and welcoming, I love old houses so I instantly felt at home. It had everything we needed for a ski trip to Saddleback which is about a 15 minute drive from the house. Lots of sleeping options and comfortable beds too, I will definitely see if this is available next time we come up.

Power went out during a big wind storm and Jesse was helpful in finding out when we might expect to get power back. Stove was incredible! Beautiful home with a neat story

Our party of 8 had an amazing time! The lake is beautiful. The house is walking distance to town. I would definitely rent again if our travels bring us back to that part of the country.

Jonathan and Lisa were wonderful hosts! We stayed 3 nights to enjoy some Spring skiing at Saddleback. The home was close to town and a quick drive to Saddleback mountain. The house is perched high on a hill overlooking Rangeley lake. The downside is that the driveway is steep and icy (this time of year due to the recent March thaws) but the view and sunsets are breathtaking!! For an additional fee, you can enjoy their newly built sauna and whirlpool. So relaxing after a day of skiing that we booked it twice. The house has all the comforts of home. Being culinary masters, we had a bit of a struggle in the small kitchen. But certainly most everything you need to prepare great meals. Communication with the hosts was excellent and timely.

We had a great stay here for a few days of skiing in March. We especially loved that we could walk quickly across a parking lot to the Snubber lift to get right on the slopes -- and it was easy to come back for lunch breaks on the colder days. The condo was clean, the bathroom was updated, and the kitchen was small but equipped for simple meals. There was plenty of room for four adults (and one small dog!) to comfortably hang in the living room after skiing. Note that there are lots of steps up to the condo -- we didn't mind, but prepare accordingly.

Great place to stay, beautiful surroundings, loved it! Cabin itself is big and there is always a room to have some quiet time away from kids playing. Plenty of cookware. Big Moose Mountain ski resort is about 50 min away with friendly staff and reasonable, not overblown prices.

The condo is as described. The condo is clean and has all the amenities described. It is conveniently located - a short walk across the adjacent parking lot to the snubber chair lift and next to the xcountry/walking trail. This is our third visit. We have no complaints when staying at George’s place!

Had an awesome stay at Mathews place. 20 min drive from Sugarloaf with an option for a shuttle even. Cozy spot next to a beautiful river. Allowed us to check out an hour late.

The condo was very nice and comfortable. The host was responsive and provided good instructions ahead of time. The location is great, just a short slide to the condo lift. It is true ski in ski out, and provides a great Sugarloaf experience!

My husband and I stayed here with out two daughters for a weekend of skiing and it was great! My 4 year old loved that she could just walk over to the lift and hop on and then ski back to the condo when she was all done. The space was great, comfortable and easy to use. I would definitely stay again

Dragonwood was an excellent property for a large group! The kitchen was well-stocked, rooms were outfitted with plenty of sheets/blankets/towels, and the location was beautiful. The host was very responsive and was even able to help us with a car that was stuck in the snow as we were checking out. Would highly recommend for large groups looking for a very unique place to stay in the woods of Mine!

Very lovely home and home owners as well. Enjoyed the quiet very much at their place.

Best host I’ve had thus far, Steve went out of his way to help us when we needed it. His airbnb is great too, it has everything you could need. I would love to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Craig's place. There was plenty of room for our group, which consisted of four couples. The house is close to Sugarloaf which was so convenient for the skiers. We stayed inside one of the days as it was bitter cold and were all comfortable hanging out in the living room playing games. Craig was flexible and allowed us to check in a little early and pay to stay longer through the last day. The view of the bog and mountain from the kitchen is gorgeous and we were able to get a small walk in following the little trail that borders the property and bog. All in all it was a convenient and cozy stay.

Beautiful property, peaceful, lovely charm and lake side decor!! Your booklet was awesome. We didn’t need to utilize all of your offered household necessities but well thought out and planned. Awesome to have LOTS of extra towels, the shower curtain slightly a PIA as it leaks onto the floor but hey it works!!! The added option of cable TV is a nice touch most air b n b’s don’t offer that option!! The barn shutters on the windows so pretty, provides black out for ideal sleeping in!! All in all the cookies were an added to die for extra sweet bonus!!! Thank YOU for sharing your slice of paradise.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times, once under previous ownership. It was clean and a great stay for a long weekend of snowmobiling.

A beautiful location to spend the start of April. We were looking for quiet and we got exactly that. But there was still plenty open for us to get out in town for meals and entertainment. The house is beautifully and simply decorated and offers plenty of games, books, and all the amenities we needed. I would absolutely do this exact visit, same time of year and same place, again if I had the opportunity.
