It was December and the place was beautiful with all the snow. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The house was clean and comfortable. Naoki is 1 of the best host we had. We were sad to leave and is already thinking of coming back next year :)

We have a great time in these few days. Mrs. Ando prepared Akita's specialty きりたんぽ hot pot for us on the night we checked in. It was very delicious. Mr Ando also introduced local restaurants and nearby sightseeing places , as well as private hot springs in theDen En, so that we could relax every day and enjoy the fun of hot springs at home. Mr Ando and Mrs Ando are very friendly. I will definitely stay at Den En again when I come to Akita.

I had an amazing stay at Lien Tono! Daiji-san was an exceptional host, offering warmth and hospitality that made my visit truly special. The beautiful surroundings and traditional Japanese house provided a serene and authentic experience. I highly recommend Lien Tono to anyone looking for a tranquil and unforgettable getaway. Tono is a fantastic place to visit, and I look forward to returning in the future.

It was the best space I can feel most confidently staying in the accommodation I've ever stayed in!Especially, breakfast was made of local ingredients, and I was able to get a really delicious breakfast that you can only taste in Nishiwaga Town while looking at the snowy scenery!The host and his wife were also very warm and perfectly supported everything we wanted to do, including a bonfire, a lot of climbing in Takada, pizza making, and it was an unforgettable memory! It is a place where you can feel the hometown of Japan that you will definitely want to return to once you visit. It is recommended for more than 2 nights at a slow time!

Hal was a FANTASTIC host! If I could give her more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! She went above and beyond to take care of us. From bringing us homemade blueberry jam to taking us to the station early in the morning, Hal was the greatest host you could ask for. In terms of the space, it is hard to find on Google maps, but Hal was so helpful in directing us towards her property. The house is beautiful! The upstairs is a great lounging spot and the surroundings are beautiful. The bathroom is SUPER nice with a tub that fills itself and the kitchen is easy to use. If you are in Shizukuishi for any reason (and have transportation) Hal is the place to stay! Thank you so much, Hal!

The place is so good, the owner is very helpful. He was always there to help when needed. The place is fully ready for guests to come, have fun, and sleep. Kitakami doesn't have the tourist spots but if that is not what you want then this house might be the right place to choose

We stayed in Ichinoseki for 2 nights. The place was quiet and a great place to crash for the night. Kiku was very helpful when our plans needed to change because of the train closure. It's not quite an entire place as Kiku stays there as well, as the host, but it was comfortable and we didn't feel intruded upon in any way. Kiku made breakfast one morning, which was excellent! The bedroom divisions were comfortable and clean. Quiet time worked out for us since most of our group went to bed early.

We mentioned it as a honeymoon in advance, so we had a surprise cake.♡ The host's personality was very conveyed, and I was very happy with your feelings! Also, the explanation when we checked in was polite and we were able to stay with peace of mind! However, the ocean view was great, but it was a little difficult to get to the inn by car. Thanks again!
