3mins->Kinosaki Sta./Renovated Kominka/1~9ppl

Very good experience, we are a group of six people, the accommodation is spacious and convenient, the kitchen is fully equipped with daily necessities, and a bag of instant noodles is prepared for each person, as well as tea and coffee. The host had already turned on the heating before we checked in, very considerate. There are two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs, and toiletries are provided. The location of the homestay is easy to find, 3 minutes walk from the train station. There is a seafood seller nearby, you can buy it back to the homestay to cook it yourself, or you can go to the seafood seller upstairs to process it, it is very convenient, the beef in the restaurant is delicious, and the price is reasonable. The homestay is very close to several Wentang, eating, drinking, and having fun.

Japanese Tatami Room, close to the sea

We had a wonderful stay, we were greeted and picked up at the train station and enjoyed two days of rest and beautiful walks. This is a very unique place to stay on a small fishing village. We ordered dinners and Received breakfasts as well. The meals were beautifully presented and tasted even better! This was a wonderful rest in between two weeks of busy sightseeing, highly recommended!

Kominka Guest House Kurayoshi, a renovated 105-year-old traditional house

JoannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank u Yamane-san for this wonderful stay! I was initially concerned since the house was a bit far from the station and I was traveling solo. However, Yamane-san’s warm welcome immediately put all my worries at ease! Even though I arrived in Kurayoshi at 10 PM that day, he was kind enough to accommodate my arrival time and drove to the station to pick me up and take me to the house The house is quite a traditional Japanese house, except the bathrooms are more modern style (that's an advantage lol). However, for an Asian, the Japanese dolls in the bedroom were somehow eerie (probably bc of Japanese horror films). But if u r fond of Japanese traditional culture and don't mind this, the bedroom is a perfect fit for u. When the weather is on the colder side (I’d say when the high is below 15°C), the bedroom will need more heaters. Advice-might be helpful to include some photos of the bedroom so guests know what to expect (the rooms are beautiful) Looking forward to the next stay :D

Truly recommendation this place as it has been such a wonderful, wonderful stay here with Takao-san and Kayoko-san! Thank you for the great recommendations for food and places to see! We enjoyed every moment of our time in your house, it was so clean, beautiful and comfortable and felt just like home. We will miss Kayoko-san's delicious cooking and Takao-san's patient guidance! Besides the stay, they also took the time to introduce the city and make sure we were comfortable—our time with them was truly the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much for being so kind to drive us to dinner and to the station, the experience here truly went above and beyond!! Thank you for your care 🌷 we hope to be back again!

The most heartwarming, loving Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Toshi and Taeka are really special people and their home is one of a kind. Very grateful to have stayed here and met them. ❤️

Live like a small house by the sea in a quiet seaside uminoie Mousska

We highly recommend Souichi and the house to everyone!!! They are the most genuine and friendly hosts we’ve met (and we’ve stayed at a fair amount of airbnbs) and were very helpful either everything. The house was impeccable and situated just by the shore giving us an amazing view of the beach and the ocean. Again, highly recommended!
