We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Was a lovely place to call home for the week. Beautiful views on the sun terrace and very spacious, clean rooms. Angela was a very kind host! She has welcomed us very warmly. Communication with Angela was very pleasant and easy. She recommends us for the evening right down on the beach to visit the pizzeria, which was really great and certainly the best pizza of the whole holiday! We liked the apartment and the terrace even better as this was visible from the photos. It was very clean, the kitchen was equipped with everything necessary. Also the bathroom, which also had a washing machine. All around it was a great apartment with a great and quiet location, a few meters away from the center of Balestrate. It was also great that the apartment was a few meters away from the beach, so you could also enjoy a nice sunset on the beach with a beer or wine. If we decide again for a few days in Balestrate, we would not hesitate and would immediately like to stay with Angela again in the apartment!

Federico is really a wonderful host. He made everything comfortable for us,gave us clear instructions and recommendations. He is always super responsive and kind. He even took the trouble to drive more than 40 minutes to the apartment to solve a problem for us on New Year's Eve! We are really so grateful! The location can't have been better. It is right next to the cathedral. It's also highly appreciated that we have a private parking spot inside the yard, which is really really precious in Palermo! The apartment is very spacious and clean.

Great place to stay in Palermo. Very clean, all needed amenities are present, good temperature compared to the outside heat, warm welcome by the host, and close to the centre of the old city (15-20 min walk).

Francesca left clear and precise instructions for check-in, showed concern regarding the building's winter-friendly characteristics (it has no heating), and made this aspect clear at the beginning of the reservation. Francesca also gave us excellent recommendations regarding restaurants, local food, street food, parking, bookstores, and museums to visit in Palermo. The balcony is a highlight of the apartment; having breakfast at the table outside is lovely. My only recommendation would be to invest in an electric heater for the bedroom during the winter months. Francesca left a gas heater at our disposal, but it cannot be used inside the bedroom due to the carbon dioxide generated by burning the gas. Therefore, an electric heater (one that runs on oil inside) would be a good purchase for the apartment.

this was one of the best stays we had recently... Antonella is very kind, when we checked in there were fruits, milk, juice, bread, jam etc already there for the breakfast... she also baked some cupcakes for us 😊, they were delicious... the apartment is very spacious and you immediately feel at home... everything is very walkable from the apartment... bustop, market, restaurants and places to see... I would highly recommend this apartment when you visit Palermo...

location was extremely central - love it! Alessio is extremely responsive, he helped us with the questions we have in a very timely manner and also gave us a lot of suggestions in terms of restaurants and attractions. Would totally recommend this!

Amazing place! Of all our previous stays and visits to 4 to 800 year old architecture, the entrance into an enclosed baroque courtyard with vaulted ceilings and super-wide limestone steps was as good a picture as anywhere! The co-host Angelo was very helpful, meeting us to check in, showing us the intricacies of the apartment. He set up a vet appointment for our doggie, and walked me through (within 5 minutes) resetting a breaker. We actually liked it there so much, literally minutes from the central train station, and liked Palermo, that we tried to extend our stay by a week but other guests had already reserved. Definitely one of the top places we have stayed, and a very strong positive recommendation.

A beautiful oasis of calm in Palermo. Great apartment in a historic building within walking distance of the old area of the city and many of the main attractions. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious and well equipped. Communication with Davide was easy and we appreciated his flexibility around checking in. We had a fantastic time and would visit again.

We felt so comfortable! The personal welcome was great!! Thanks also for the wine bottle and spaghetti!! even a bottle of water was in the fridge! The apartment was very tastefully decorated and the bed very comfortable! TV with Prime and Netflix function, the center over 2 alleys! Plenty of parking all around. Loud nice recommendations for Massimiliano and his son! Thank you!!! We had a great time in Palermo! When we come back, the apartment is hopefully free again!

This is a lovely penthouse condo with amazing view. The town is quaint and quiet and not far from the city. The map initially said over an hour but I’d say it’s closer to 40 minutes. Parking was easy. Checkin was all with a code making my late arrival seamless the jacuzzi on the deck with the view was pretty priceless after a long day on walking. Everything was clean and comfortable and the sparkling wine in the fridge was a very nice touch!

I can’t say enough nice things. First of all, Daniela is such a gem! She offered rides for very reasonable prices, gave us brief tours of the areas we were in which were super helpful, and always responsive. Her place was just outside of the noisier areas, but walking distance to the restaurants and beaches. 15 minutes walk to the beach, or you can wait for the local buses if you prefer not to walk. The space was spacious and the bed was so comfortable!! After traveling for a couple weeks, the good nights of sleep were needed. Great trip & stay, and hope to return someday :)

Salvo was an amazing host, answered all our questions and helped us with so many things. The walk up to the apartment with bags is tough, but the location is impossible to beat in the middle of everything and great amenities. We had an amazing stay!

Well-maintained complex with a beautiful pool and great views. You can almost always see the sea from the terrace. Just a few (steep) meters to the beach, where there are also some restaurants and bars (but only partially open in October), a small Conad supermarket can be reached in less than 200m. It's a bit too far to walk to the city, but easy to reach by car, here a lot of restaurants and other ways to deal with (in the evening) Also many excursion options e.g. to Erice or Favignana. Very good and friendly check-in and service from Eliana which was easy to reach. Small drawbacks were the many roaming and begging cats (not for allergy sufferers) and that the house is very clairaudient, the bathroom from the neighbors borders one of the bedrooms in each case. And a dishwasher would be nice, but that's in the description.

This was one of the most amazing places we have stayed in... it was so well done and modern but kept some the historical character - we loved learning about the building and the family. The outdoor space was amazing and we were happy for warm and sunny days in Nov - a little chilly for the pool though. The beds and all furniture were so comfortable. Angelo was so helpful and it was wonderful to have a few snacks and breakfast items in the kitchen. The location was perfect - everything was walkable but not too loud. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

Rosalia homestay was such a beautiful property with a brilliant host. Couldn’t recommend enough. The views are incredible. Not far from cinisi and Terrasini both great little towns to have a look around. Brilliant beaches and viewpoints just a walk away from the property. Thanks for a great stay Mara :)

Dorotea and her husband are very pleasant hosts, available and have good tips. They contributed to the success of our stay. The accommodation is very clean and functional, the outdoor setting with the pool is really nice. We recommend these hosts without hesitation.
