Short Tuscan Rentals - La Terrazza sul Mare

VincentRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

Glass wall with panoramic sea view

Dominik MarcRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a wonderful time in Giglio. The apartment exceeded our expectations, everything was there, everything worked, just so that it was comfortable for us from the first moment. The view of Campese is spectacular, the surroundings around the apartment are beautiful and functional. The communication worked tip top, we arrived late, but that was no problem. Since friends of ours were also on the island and we visited each other, I really appreciated that the kitchen equipment was not "counted", which means that there were also glasses, cups, etc. for visitors. We will be happy to come back!
A yellow building is visible from the waterfront, located above other colorful structures. The building features a balcony overlooking the harbor, with boats docked below. Palm trees and market stalls are seen nearby, adding to the lively atmosphere of the port area.

Prince's House

Wonderful location in beautiful Giglio Porto. On the pulse in the small harbor with always pleasant tones of sea, gulls, ships and the quiet hustle and bustle on the street. Very nice view from the cozy little balcony. The contact with Mario was always very binding and straightforward. We hiked and enjoyed the tips for the island - the gastronomy is a treat! We are very much looking forward to next time.
A bright kitchen area features white cabinetry and a tiled backsplash. A wooden dining table is set for six, surrounded by black metal chairs with cushion seats. Kitchen appliances, including a microwave and coffee maker, are visible against the wall, completing the space.

First Floor in a Villa by the Sea with a Tennis Court

TinaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We loved our stay at Einar's property, the view is to die for, and the proximity to the beach brilliant! Einar is very helpful and responsive and quickly sorted little issues. The flat was spotless, and is well equipped. The only negative was that the master bedroom got very hot as the ceiling fan wasn't working, but I think Einar is planning to address this. We fell in love with Giglio and hope to return in the near future!

Tatiana’s Pretty House

NiklasRating, 5 stars31 months ago
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful week at Giulia's apartment. The apartment is located in a separate complex, to which only guests and owners of the houses there have access. The apartment is in a great location, including Sea view and a large, partly covered, terrace. Giulia's apartment is a good fit for 2-3 people and is perfectly equipped, especially the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The apartment is very clean, with the check-in and check-out everything worked smoothly. Particularly worthy of mention is the access to the sea, which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes and which you share with the other guests of the complex. The nearest town - Porto St. Stefano can be reached in about 10-15 minutes by car. Giulia is a great host who responds very quickly to all inquiries and takes care of the well-being of her guests - all wonderful. We can recommend Giulia's apartment for anyone who wants to spend quiet days by the sea in a wonderful place away from mass tourism. We will be happy to come back - Grazie mille!!

Garden house "Il Pepe"

Frank-FlorianRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A beautiful little house with a fantastic view of the sea. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are small but nicely furnished and you have everything you need. The terrace is very large with plenty of seating and beautiful tables. From there you have a wonderful view of the sea. The area consists of a few other vacation homes and is very quiet. There is a swimming pool that you can use and at the end of a long staircase an access to the sea (no beach but rocky but still great for swimming). Around the cottage is a small garden and many beautiful trees. Giovanni's father Eduardo welcomed us, showed us everything and was very friendly. If we had a question, we got an answer quickly. For shopping, you drive about 10-15 minutes by car to the next town. In summary: a very nice quiet place with perfect views with friendly people. We will be happy to come back.

Barlufffa – Special Sea & Sky Villa

NicholasRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What an amazing location with a sensational view. We were looking for a restful location in picturesque surroundings where we could relax and unwind; this was definitely that place. After a day at the beach (7 min walk - downhill way there and quite a steap climb back if you decided not to drive) this had all the (immaculately landscaped) outdoor living spaces you need to relax into the evening and look out to sea as the day ends....views you could even enjoy from the brilliant outdoor shower! The accomodation was perfect for our group (3 adult couples) and on the warmer days it was nice to have the air conditioning. Both the owner and the host were helpful and responsive throughout. The only noteworthy things are that the drive into the location was along some tight and twisty cliff roads (I would not like to drive it in the dark) and the local beach is rocky so I would highly recommend swimming shoes. Overall we felt this was a magical place and had an amazing stay!
A serene view is captured from the edge of a pool, overlooking a vibrant turquoise sea. In the distance, a lush island is visible, framed by clear blue skies and gentle foliage. The pool's water reflects sunlight, creating a shimmering effect.

A terrace on the Argentario

ChrisRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Wonderful location with fantastic view of the sea. Very large, lovely garden. Perfect privacy. At the back of the domain, however, the owner has his own place to stay, with its own entrance. Fortunately, the owner was not present during our period, because that would have reduced that perfect privacy feeling a bit. It is an older villa but equipped with every comfort. Modern well equipped bathrooms. The kitchen is also very functional, but not modernized. We knew that in advance, because you can clearly see it in the photos. Silva is a perfect host : proactive and very friendly. The extra cleaning events we had requested were also perfectly arranged by Silva and excellently performed by Sabrina. The only downside of the location and the entire area is that there are many mosquitoes.

We had a great stay at Andrea’s apartment in Porto Santo Stefano. It was the perfect spot for our family of 5 to stay while visiting friends and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. We absolutely loved the view and the amazing location. Andrea was very accommodating about our unfortunate late arrival and very responsive to any messages. We ate great pizza at Pizz & Core and while we were sad that Tony’s pizzeria (right downstairs) was closed on a Monday night - we also had a great meal at Da Zirio The weather wasn’t the best for us with unseasonal rain but we had a brilliant visit to “Il Giardino Dei Tarocchi” and found an amazing little art gallery “JB Art”. What a beautiful place to visit. We will be back!

Elena and her husband were lovely to meet and drove us to the house. The house has one of the best views in Argentario and so much space to relax outside. We had a fabulous week and it is only a few minutes from the port and we couldn't have had better hosts. Highly suggest for anyone to stay, just make sure to rent a car with 4 wheel drive as many of the roads in argentario are a bit of off roading. Thank you elena!!

LA MY LITTLE HOUSE IN THE OLD CITY OF PORTO ERCOLE

One of the best places we have stayed. Maria Cristina was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Amazing view over the bay of Porto Ercole, spacious and clean apartment with all facilities (even things we were not expecting such as toothbrushes). Maria Cristina gave us many useful tips on restaurants, beaches, places to go. Free parking place highly appreciated. Hope to be back! Thanks again Maria Cristina.

Casetta Annunziata - Annunziata house

MichaelRating, 5 stars33 months ago
When you reach the end piece heaven, it will look a lot like Porto Santo Stefano. I had never heard of it before this last week, but now it's forever etched in my heart. The flat is steps from the Med, which I swam in everyday. Pure paradise that has been there thousands of years. As night fell, I walked the busy streets, dined in the local flair, and ate more gelato that I could bare. I was never far away from the action and that's the draw to this place. From the windows, you can hear the robust Italians and mopeds zooming by, which added charm to an already quiet village. I loved watching the fishing boat set out to port and often walked down to the open markets to see what they caught for the day. I cooked a bit, made fresh coffee, and took frequent naps all which this space provided. After so many days, I did laundry and hung it outside like a true Italain. Every morning I opened all the windows and left the fresh Seabreeze into the apartment, which cooled it down to perfection and then I would write. I never was without inspiration and if bored, I'd walk down to the boardwalk to find an adventure. And the gelato...did I mention the gelato? This was a great place and I highly recommend it for a relaxing escape on the edge of the Earth. Will return someday to feel it again, but for now I leave it with the best of memories.
A charming view of a fisherman’s cottage is presented, nestled inside a tranquil bay. Stone buildings line the waterfront, reflecting traditional seaside architecture. Clear waters gently lap against the rocky shoreline, while greenery and distant slopes frame the scene, creating a serene coastal atmosphere.

Casa Saraceno

KerryRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I wish I could live here all summer, every summer! Casa Saracena is an absolute gem in a perfect location. Wake to picture perfect views of the cove from your window, make breakfast in the kitchen corner and enjoy a coffee on the little beach, or walk three minutes to the cafes, bars and restaurants of the port. The apartment is utterly charming and feels very homely but has lots of space, two full bathrooms and even an induction cooktop. The bed was comfortable, water pressure excellent and the apartment was well-equipped. One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in decades of travelling - we genuinely didn’t want to leave and will be back to stay again as soon as we possibly can. Don’t miss this little piece of paradise!
