Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Isle of Anglesey

We stayed at Wendy’s cottage in between 2 days of golf, the second day at Bull Bay, amazing course but sadly not great weather. We were glad to get back to the cosy cottage, home from home, the pictures don’t do it justice. Very peaceful and very comfy, everything was perfect. Will definitely return if back in Anglesey. Lovely house and very clean. Nice decor. Comfy beds and good quality bedding. Nice garden which we didn’t really make use of due to the weather. Great shower. Well equipped kitchen. A highchair which was helpful for our 1 year old. A little milk, butter and coffee pods were at the house which was a bonus. I had forgotten some toiletries but thankfully there was a shop near by. Location was very quiet and there isn’t much in the town, which was fine for us as we drove everywhere to explore Anglesey. We did eat at pub which was a 10 mins walk away which was very disappointing. Note there are 2 pubs in the area. 1 is currently not open and the other was not very good at all for food. Overall really lovely stay for a small family. Would recommend to others who want to visit Anglesey

We all (six family members & a 🐶) had a superb time at the house in red wharf bay. Having been red wharf numerous times before this was the 1st time at the beach house everything about the house was perfect including the weather for our stay. Lydia&Hannah are easily contactable and helped us with any questions we had. We love a great location and this was 1st class so much so we all want a return trip next year 😎👍

We are returning guests which is testament to how much we love this place and enjoyed our stay. This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with lots of thoughtful touches like books for the kids and local information. There is a local pub that does good pizza, a playground locally for the kids and it's a good location for getting out and about to places like Foel Farm and also for exploring further a field. Great stay, its a lovely quirky cottage and was really big inside. The green house is incredible and definitely a highlight! We had rain for most of the break, so it was lovely to shelter in there. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location with proactive friendly hosts. Our family group very much enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The photos really don't do it justice and we were pleasantly surprised with how big the house and garden actually were. Very well equipped with anything we could have needed during our stay and everything was extremely clean and excellent quality, which just made our stay so much more enjoyable than the airbnbs we've been in before. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Lovely dog friendly home. Lots of thought into little extras, dog bowls, biscuits, and shower gels, shampoo, conditioner. Clean, comfortable, warm and accommodating parking when works outside meant road dug up. Great instruction folder. Lovely ☺️

Host was always quick to respond, place was easy to find. Has a tidy fully enclosed garden with beautiful views. House itself is clean and spacious.

It’s the second time we have stayed, we enjoyed our first visit so much we booked on the journey home! You will get a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, dog friendly area. Our hosts were on hand for any advice on local area and recommendations. Lovely penthouse apartment with great views of Snowdonia - Rebecca was very helpful and responsive even over the holidays . George and Dragon and Liverpool Arms are great pubs for food .

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at the apartment. It is close to some gorgeous beaches and walks, perfect for our family, including our two dogs. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you 😊

Perfect stay for climbing Snowdon. Clean, comfortable and had tea, coffee and milk which was a nice touch! Would definitely recommend!

Me and my fiance stayed here over the Easter bank holiday weekend. It was a lovely stay, and I highly recommend if you’re looking to enjoy Snowdonia and the local area. Perfect location in a lovely little village. The flat itself was perfect, the cinema room in the back of it made it even better for the Wet afternoon and evenings that we had. Would highly recommend.

We have had a great stay, everything was exactly as listed. It's a beautiful apartment in a great location. There is always something to do based at Benllech. We had fabulous beach walks from St David's across to Red Wharf on sunny days. We left the car and walked for miles and miles and miles! We had a rainy day too.... hey, this is why Wales is so green! We drove up to Mynydd Parys and WOW. We have been visiting Ynys Mon/Anglesey for 35 years and this was our first visit. We still have so many places on my to visit list and will certainly book with Alice and Richard again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Driftwood, we had an amazing time.

The easiest 5 star review! The view is exceptional and worth every penny. Everything was amazing, very well equipped and thought out, immaculately clean and a real home away from home! We have fell in love with this area and can’t wait to return soon!

We have just spent a lovely long weekend at Clare’s spotlessly clean, brilliantly located apartment. It’s only steps from Benllech’s beach but really quiet and private. Super comfy bed and sofa (and cute little elephant decorations!). The apartment has everything two people need for a perfect getaway, is a superb base for exploring all of Angelsey - and Clare is a wonderful host (we had a minor issue that she resolved immediately). Thanks Clare - we’ll be back!

I had a lovely peaceful stay at Clare’s. The apartment is spotless, you could smell how clean it is as you walked in. Check in was simple and there is an information pack with all you need to know about the area. The apartment was great for my needs as a single person on a university weekend. Great location - no where was too far to drive so I was able to check in and still do some exploring after a day of lectures. Clare’s communication ahead of check in was great too, she even left me some milk for a tea on my arrival. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend and stay again.

Beth's place is lovely, very homely and perfect for a weekend away for two people. The views from both the living room and the bedroom are spectacular, and the apartment is furnished so tastefully. The kitchen is well equipped, (even had salt, vinegar, teabags and tin foil!), only things missing were kitchen roll and perhaps some oil for cooking, however there are multiple small shops nearby to get this. The location was great, so close to the beach, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Google maps took us to a dead-end however from the postcode provided for the parking outside the estate agents however - so would be better to given simply the Estate agent name. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom also lovely and very modern. My only slight gripe was the shower pressure, if you have long hair, I'd suggest washing it before/after your trip as the electric shower struggles! Otherwise, a fantastic trip and would highly recommend Beth's apartment.

Lovely clean ground floor flat. Well presented with lots of kitchen equipment. Easy walk to Bangor town centre, but quite peaceful. Some noise from the road behind the flat, not too bad in March but I imagine would be more in summer months. Iman was very communicative with detailed information as to how to access the flat.

This place was perfect for a couple of days cycling and walking around Anglesey. The apartment was comfortable and very clean and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The pub a few doors down was a bonus too and we had a nice mea there. Thanks to Rebecca for good information and being responsive about accomodating our bikes. The view from the front window was fantastic.

a perfect place to stay before getting the ferry to Ireland. The apartment had everything that we needed, Michele even bought a second cot for us to use. Lovely location right by the water. Check in was super easy and Michele was very quick to respond and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat. Would definitely recommend!

The place was very clean and easy to check in to even though we didn’t arrive until 10pm, perfect location if you plan on exploring both Anglesey and snowdonia in one go. The view alone is worth the price you pay

There were three of us staying and all agreed it's on our list as a revisit! John was a really warm, genuinely friendly host. Great recommendations and the flat which adjoins the house was perfect for our needs - we didn't spend much time in the flat with a full conference agenda for our stay but it would be equally good as a base for exploring the area properly. We'll likely be back if in North Wales for work or even for a break away. 'No frills' accommodation as John had described but, clean enough and well equipped for a few days stay, good warm shower and close to the uni and shops/food places. Diolch John, J, R and T 👍 😊

We felt at home very quickly as the layout of the townhouse was convenient and comfortable, with so many lovely touches: a welcome pint of milk, coffee and tea, quality toiletries and interesting decor. The location was perfect for everywhere and the stairs kept us fit!
