Mamaluma was such a relaxing place with absolutely incredible views. Bird sitings were numerous and we heard far more than we were able to see. The wildlife was also both surprising and stunning, from the green and black poison dart frog to the capuchins and coati. We even caught a rare siting of a great curassaw!! This is truly a piece of paradise and would come back in a heartbeat! Malene, Martin and Eduin were very responsive; and we thank you for the great suggestions in a very well detailed welcome package!!

Lovely villa with a nice pool and views down to the coast. Property is just north of Ojochal but was hard to find due to inaccurate directions. Missing a few nice to haves such as outdoor lights and furniture, indoor lamps, wine glasses, small bowls etc but these are minor issues against a fab property overall.

The place is beautiful, the house too. Very well maintained and spacious, with all the amenities. The green area is great for children or pets, the pool is great. Everything is just as shown in the photographs. A little far from the beaches but the house is so nice that we didn't want to go out much anyway.

It’s only been 5 hours since we left and we miss our casita already. Colin and Stephanie are great hosts and very nice people. We quickly felt right at home and our 1 month stay went too quickly. We loved the neighborhood, great for a challenging walks when we wanted extra exercise. Groceries close by, great restaurants and we loved the variety of beaches with in 20 minutes. Colin’s chickens provided us with the best eggs, we really appreciated that! We would love to return and look forward to enjoying the new pool and casita’s that will be completed soon.

Emmanuel was a very responsive and very polite host. He was very pleasant to deal with from the very first approach. This is a very comfortable house to spend a family vacation. Spacious, not cluttered, great views, with a gated driveway, and it felt very safe. The galleries around the house are big, very enjoyable, actually nicer than the pictures Emmanuel posted in Airbnb. There's also a very cozy "quincho", with an outdoor table, that is not shown in Airbnb . He mentioned it was new, and had not updated the pictures yet. We saw so many different birds from this decks, and so many colors of pink and red after the sunsets....priceless If we go back to Uvita, we would stay there again. This place is very peaceful and beautiful, perfect for our small vacation in Costa Rica. Uber worked pretty well and location is great, we felt right at home, the salt water pool is perfect and very gentle on the eyes and skin. The house has two external showers that were useful and also 1.5 bathrooms. The fridge is big enough. The garden is beautiful. Highly recommend.

The villa is located in a very nice neighbourhood and it is as per photos and description on the website. It was very well stocked and had many pool and beach chairs. Sonya and Jan, the contact people on the ground were very helpful and responded very quickly to requests or minor concerns. Very nice view of the mountains and of the ocean. There are several sodas/restaurants in the area and we often went to Soda Ojoche, a 7 minute drive from the villa. 2 convenience stores are within 10 minutes and you can also find a BM and Maxi Pali within 25 minutes for groceries. Many beaches are easily accessible, including Playa Ventanas (15 minutes) and Playa Hermosa (30 minutes). There is construction on the main road at the moment therefore it may take a little longer than usual. We recommend this villa.
