Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Isanti County

This is a perfect place for us. Beds were comfortable, a few blocks from a great coffee shop, easy to get to, very clean. There were issues with internet but they came right over and fixed it!

The place was pretty peaceful , I came here while I worked at a project down the road and I would do it again if I had to.

The Ole Blue was the perfect little get away for what my husband and I needed. The place is a perfect serene area that allows you to feel “away” and yet can get to explore another city if you wanted.

I really appreciate that the kitchen was stocked with a wide selection of pots and pans as well as spices and basics for meal prep. I also forgot body wash, but Heidi had travel size bottles available. Laundry detergent was also available, which made things really easy!

We were there for a Ladies weekend . Loved the 3 fully stocked bathrooms and 4 bedrooms for a reasonable price. Lots of space for lounging around after a day of sightseeing and shopping. Appreciated her willingness to accommodate our early arrival and loved the ability to park our car in the garage. Thank you Dottie for a wonderful hassle-free weekend.

The house was so beautiful and once we walked in the door it felt like home. The property was just amazing and the neighborhood was so quiet. The backyard was an oasis! Each room was decorated beautifully. We booked the trip to celebrate my grandson’s Baptism and Tom and Rachel were so sweet and bought a beautiful gift. They also made delicious kombucha which we finished during our stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen was stocked well and all the bathrooms were so beautiful….Especially the master. Everything was so neat and clean. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. It was just a great stay! Thank you Tom and Rachel for allowing us in your beautiful home! We hope to come again soon as we have family in the area! Many blessings

The house was accommodating for a large group. We stayed there with 10 people and did not feel crowded.

Beautiful home!! Stayed with a group of girls for our annual ladies Christmas party and had a wonderful time! Every bedroom is spacious and comfortable and has its own private bathroom/shower which is awesome for a group of girls. The open floor plan and fully stocked kitchen is wonderful. The hot tub is superb. Would definitely recommend!

Ed and Christine were very welcoming hosts. They are truly two of the nicest folks we have met. They were immediately responsive to any requests. * Every room was comfy, quiet, fresh-smelling, and very clean. * Kitchen appliances worked well and were clean. We were able to cook our own meals in the vacation spot as well as we could at home. * The local market we used was impressive (thank you CUB-Forest Lake), and the local family eateries were quite friendly (thank you, Keys Cafe and Bakery!). * The place had a laundry where we could take care of our clothes. You won't have to pack and haul around too many clean replacements. * We quickly learned that the Caribou (K-Cup) coffee they provided was superior to the stuff we bought locally (sorry, Green Mountain). Get some! * Widescreen TVs were a nice touch, and they were equipped with DISH satellite connectivity. * We got to see the changing of leaf colors right in their backyard. ;-)

Great location - clean modern apartment. Would have preferred a tv in the bedrooms, only one tv in the family room. Tv remote is intermittent.

This place is a haven; lovely cabin right on the river! Sauna is a great touch and there are so many corners in the house to wind down and read and relax. We loved our time here!

The cabin was even more beautiful than the photos. It was comfortable, cozy and perfect for our senior sister's reunion. Peaceful, private setting in the woods. Very well appointed kitchen with high end appliances. Peaceful, private setting in the woods with nearby trails to explore. 5+stars!!!

My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Wood River Retreat for our 10 wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place to stay. Great combination of being private while being close to a major road only a few miles to Grantsburg. We loved the qaintness of the cabin. It had great appliances and had just what you needed. The view from the deck over the ravine and river was gorgeous. I loved the wood fire place inside and especially loved the wood burning sauna. Being only 90 minutes from the twin cities this is a place I'd love to own myself and will definitely be going back.

Stayed here to write my PhD thesis for a week in the woods, without distractions; and it was perfect for that! Nice and cozy, had all the amenities, private, away from town, clean, comfy master bed, well stocked kitchen, reliable wifi. Host was friendly and helpful and responsive!

Definitely recommend if you want to be close to everything but be in seclusion all at the same time. And when they said they have a kitchen ready for you, they really mean it. Great communication and hospitality.

Comfortable and newer mattresses, soft and warm blankets with plenty of extra blankets. The whole place was spotless and nicely updated and decorated. It was warm and inviting and the use of the space was excellent. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was cold, but the grounds and little “neighborhood” was super quiet and peaceful. We felt like we were alone. It was so beautiful to be right on the river. We had a nice fire outside in the pit one night. Would gladly come back for a stay! Robert is a great host, friendly, and responsive. Overall a 5 star experience.

Brandi was a wonderful host! The extra touches of checking in a little early and staying a little late was so appreciated! The cabin was very cozy and felt like home. It was very clean with all the extra touches. We all had a great time!
