Karibu Red-Brick House 2024!

In 2021 & 2022 we were one of the 'Super Hosts' in Mwanza city. From 2023 until Sept 2024, we're absent. Our house is ideal for solo travellers, couple and overlanders. All modes of transportations(public min buses, taxi, Tuk-tuk, motorbikes) are all available in the area. Kiosks, min-super markets, pubs & restaurants are all available on the street or nearby and are accessed less than 5 minutes by walking. Our house has a positive recommendation at iOverlander, and Ondjila Travel.

A spacious living area features comfortable leather sofas and a wooden coffee table. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room, complemented by soft curtains. A colorful artwork is displayed on the wall, enhancing the room's homely feel.

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Our house has a lush green yard with swingset, sandbox, playhouse and trampoline it’s a perfect place for kids to play. We have a gym on the property equipment with weights, punching bags and everything you need for a good workout. The house is peaceful and modern with big ceilings and windows and has a comfortable open living floor plan. The house also has a washing machine, t.v, WiFi, and hot water heater for showering.

A balcony is adorned with potted plants, including palms and ferns, creating a lush green setting. The railing offers a view of Lake Victoria, showcasing expansive blue waters under a clear sky. Scenic hills and neighborhoods can be glimpsed in the background.

Rachel was very helpful from the beginning and the place was as shown in the photos. If you are looking for a peaceful secluded place, this is the place for you. The house is great and the surrounding area is very nice. Unfortunately, the place is a bit further out of Mwanza town than we expected and there are no shops or anything nearby, with three small kids this was a bit of a challenge for us. For this reason we decided to change to another accommodation. Rachel was very helpful and understanding and gave us a full refund without any questions.

My experience there was amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mwanza. The host was very responsive and helpful and did a good job handling us. One downside is, because the house is near the lake there is a whole lot of mosquitoes at night and I recommend the host provide us with mosquito nets. Other than that the place was a 10/10 👏🏽👍🏽
