Vacation rentals in Ironwood Island

Worth noting: this location in itself is gorgeous during Autumn. And it's very close to some beautiful places if you are Autumn color hunt in Wisconsin or Michigan. The host is absolutely friendly. Highly recommend.

We were so happy to find an affordable place for a one night stay as we were passing through the area in a bit of a hurry. The house was cozy and just as shown in the photos. The beds were comfy and plenty of extra blankets were provided with clear instructions about what to do with bedding before leaving. The shower was especially welcome as there was plenty of hot water and a good showerhead. We will certainly stay there again if passing through the area!

This home is a perfect home away from home. My mom, sister and I had a fabulous vacation here and enjoyed the peace and quiet. With it so close to downtown Bayfield we were able to make multiple trips easily at different times of the day for different reasons; shopping, restaurants etc. Our host was fabulous and even let us know when to watch for the Northern lights. The sunrises were amazing and lake view was fantastic. There is more than enough space here and the screened porch was one of the best features. Oh, and so was the visits from sweet “resident” fox! We’ll definitely be back!!

This is our 3rd or 4th time here! We love staying here and walking to the ski resort. As always, the place was clean and Theresa ensures everything works. Excellent host and regularly recommend her to our friends for a great place to stay and ski or in the summer :)

We had a great time celebrating an 80th birthday party at Eileen's home. This property is right on the water, which is very appealing. The Bay is peaceful and serene. We would bring our kayaks along if we stay again (boat landing near by). The steps to get to the water were a bit difficult for our older family members to navigate. We loved the flat greenspace for playing outdoor games. Handy to have on site laundry and open concept kitchen/ dining/ living room. The loft area is open to the kitchen, so not the best area for light sleepers or late rizers:) Loved our time there, it's a special place!!

We loved our weekend stay at the cabin. The views were stunning and the cabin was very cozy and private. Great hosts! they were able to communicate with any questions we had and the hospitality was top tier. I would definitely recommend this stay to friends and family, it was perfect.

This was the ideal spot for exploring the Porcupine Mountains in MI and the Apostle Islands in WI. The home was well suited for a large family with a separate room off the kitchen for parents and their young kids. The FOUR bathrooms were a bonus as well! The back yard was huge for kids and dogs to run around and play. We spent almost every night after hiking all day in the hot tub. The last night the sky was so clear and spotted numerous shooting stars! Jim was very responsive and provided recommendations when requested. We will definitely stay here again if we decide to come back to the Ironwood area.

Loved staying here. The room was amazing, very homey and thoughtful. And the building is cool. We come here to ski every year and am hoping to book this same room next year!
