Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ipswich City

Very nice house in a quiet leafy suburb. Close to shops and the river. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Everything we needed was there.

We loved this property as our base for a few days exploring Brisbane and visiting family - used a mix of Uber and buses to get around depending on where we were going. Wayne was very responsive and helpful with any queries we had. We were very appreciative of essential supplies that were left for us to use too. We had loads of room to spread out between the 4 of us as well as giving us the opportunity to host a lovely home cooked meal for family - all kitchen equipment available and easy to use with a family vibe already present making it feel comfortable to have people over for a quiet catch up. Piggy Back and neighbouring cafe were great to use early in the morning when we wanted to treat ourselves to a coffee or have an amazing breakfast - portions are very generous! The property was spotless and well looked after but did not feel clinical like some properties can be. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone else who is visiting the area.

The place was an absolute gem. It was peaceful and quiet thus providing you the relaxation you need after a full day of activities. It is also surrounded by lush nature yet, it is less than 30 minutes to the city and less than 10mins to shops and other amenities. The place have everything we need and was very clean. Jen, the host, was also very welcoming and very quick to answer to queries. She provided perfect instructions on how to find the property and how to check in. Definitely will consider the property again in my next trip to Brisbane.

What a gorgeous place to stay! The house is full of the Old Queenslander charm, so beautifully detailed, with timber inside and out, coloured glass windows, and hardwood floors. Fans and air conditioning made the inside temperature very comfortable, and there is an outside covered deck to sit on. The kitchen is well equipped, 2 fantastic bathrooms, and beds were very comfortable. Excellent internet. We could not have wished for more.

Yaleisha's place was very comfortable. We stayed with three young children, so it was good having doors to separate each space. The second bedroom and kitchen was spacious. The backyard needed a little tidy up from random garden tools, broken down timber and concrete structures. But that's mostly aesthetics. Overall, nice house and convenient location to parks and shops.

It's a beautiful, clean house. The kids and I had a perfect 12 days here and made good memories. It's just a few minutes walk from the house to the three beautiful parks nearby, and it's just a 15-minute walk to the Ipswich Town business district, very convenient location. The house is a little distance from the main road, so it's quiet at night. I like the view of the backyard the most. You can see the stunning starry sky and the big tree not far away. The air is very fresh. The house is big enough, the equipment inside is very new, very complete, the quality is very good, fully meets all the needs of daily life, there are also children's books and toys, the children especially like this place. The host responded in a timely manner and gave us a lot of help. It made us feel at home. Everything was wonderful. I like Ipswich because of this. I hope to stay here again next time.

Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and fully self-contained — perfect for a relaxing getaway. Super convenient location with an easy drive to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and just minutes from Ipswich CBD. Would definitely stay again

We stayed for 4 nights for a state age netball carnival. It was home away from home, exactly what we needed! The beds were amazing. Thank you so much for having us.

We have just stayed for 17 nights and have been very comfortable. Sonia and Stu were great hosts and were easy to communicate with. There was everything we could possibly need for our stay. We live overseas but our daughter lives in Jindalee so it was nice and close to her. We will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, clean and cosy. Great value. Access to kitchen facility and upgraded / useable outdoor areas (basketball court, pool) would have made it even better!
