Earth house vacation rentals in Ionian Islands

We really liked staying at Joanna’s, it’s clean, the swimming pool is great and the area is peaceful. The air conditioning worked and the towels were changed after a few days. The communication was excellent. But we had no 10% discount at the store and there was no olive oil in the house - it’s the small things, but the apartment’s description includes olive oil and the discount, so i’m writing about it. Also the dishwasher didn’t work (it starts, but then doesn’t wash and the dishes are still dirty) so we had to wash the dishes ourselves (there were 7 of us). And the toilet’s door doesn’t close. Anyway, it was a nice stay, we really liked the place - just a few little things could match the description better.

Incredible experience. Very hospitable Katerina, who was always ready to help, and never interfered. Even pushed the car when we got stuck. The view of the mountains is spectacular, the terrace is just amazing. The location in the center of the island is very convenient for quick access to anywhere on the island.

We stayed with our three kids in Marilena’s house for one week and enjoyed it very much! The house is fantastic with everything you need inside. The garden is charming and the pool is amazing! Everything is clean and very well maintained. In the surrounding area there are many shops and restaurants, the beach is 5 minutes walking distance Marilena is gracious host and was always available for us when we needed. It was a perfect location to explore the island, We really enjoyed our visit:)

The surprise.....What you see in the listing and description corresponds to a very small degree to what you will see when you are at Mr. Sotiris' house. Let me mention a few. I start at its place. The vibrant village of Metamorphosis,is located at a nodal point to explore the entire Laconic foot of the Peloponnese. Sights,beaches, etc..almost all at a distance of 18'-30'from the house. The view from the top veranda,amazing for tranquility,contemplative,hanging out,morning and evening ( if the relentless warmth allowed,which we found the days we stayed). The large double house,with the earthy exterior colors,the simple decor, the comfortable indoor spaces,the 3 bedrooms,the 2 bathrooms,the 4 verandas,the courtyard with mouria for morning coffee,has the above,what the guest needs ( up to 7 comfortably) to indulge only in the enjoyment of their holidays. Its amenities....beyond what we are used to finding in rental homes.(except for all the necessary items that e

We visited Voula's place for a long weekend with some friends. The house is huge and had all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean and tidy and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. The place is a bit outside the nearby village and it offers amazing views of Nafplio. GPS instructions can be a bit tricky but Voula met us at a nearby church and helped us get there without issues. Would be very happy to come back.

A beautiful little cottage so close to Canal D'Amour. We went in off season so most places were closed but that was perfect for us and the house had everything we needed. Amazing hosts and very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend!

Rozanna personally welcomed us and explained everything. In addition to a souvenir gift for us, she had also brought us food. The first breakfast and more was secured. La Casa di Nonna is located in a mountain village. You definitely need a car. Rozanna gave us valuable tips for great taverns and restaurants nearby. We particularly liked the food and atmosphere of Madraika, a tavern on the harbor of Agios Nicolaos. We spent our time hiking, snorkeling, swimming and a sea kayaking tour to the Blue Caves (definitely recommended). It's fun to explore the island with its coasts, churches, monasteries, beaches and mountains. We were always happy to return to our Greek home away from home. Dear Rozanna, thank you for everything, we will certainly see you again on Kefalonia.

Greg’s place is a dream airbnb. Although I have been increasingly disappointed with Airbnb as host become more and more corporate, Greg’s place is a beautiful home built by his great great grandfather (you can see his signature on a stone near the entrance). It has been in the family since. It has functions as a home and a refuge. It is Amazon g to get to participate in the history of such a special place.

The house is lovely, with all the necessary equipment for cooking and laundry. The area is beautiful and very peaceful, especially as we were there out of season. If you want to stay away from very touristy areas, this is your place! Aimonas could not have been more helpful, taking us to the place (which might not be super easy to find otherwise), and giving us lots of recommendations for local restaurants and advice about the area. Our stay was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. Ps: definitely need to rent a car if you want to visit the island (Aimonas can help with that too)

The level of attention and detail provided by the team was unparalleled. I felt as though we had a private concierge on hand for anything we needed. Stunning space, the type of home you don’t want to leave. Bravo!

Our stay was amazing — you can’t beat the location and views! Breakfast was so great every morning and everyone at Donkey Bay was wonderful.
